This was actually very useful! This can also be used for user coins, except there's an extra step: You have to toggle them off, and then hit "activate group" in the count trigger.

Fairydust is without a doubt much harder, a better matchup of difficulty would be nine circles and jawbreaker.

That's so much more simple than using constant pulses. (I'm an idiot)

I'm super late but i just got back into gd and beat jawbreaker for the first time today (pc). For the record, i had previously beaten nine circles on an iphone around the time this video came out, but could never get past 70% on jawbreaker on mobile. I beat nine circles in 791 attempts, and jawbreaker in 1188 attempts, both including copyables. I honestly think the predrop for nine circles is so free it aint even funny lol. the cube has zero difficult timings or tricky memorisation, the ship has very consistent patterns, and the ball section is very open aside from maybe one or two little timings, but even those are pretty generous. the end of nine circles is awesome while tense yes, but also way overrated, and quite consistent once you learn it (i've literally never died there once in normal mode, and rarely in practice). The start of the nine circles wave isn't difficult or tight, i think the start of the fairydust wave is an actually difficult version of nine circles'. The only annoying part about nine circles is the miniwave and some transitions, but not nearly as annoying as some of the transitions/portals in jawbreaker, although the second coin is a little funky. I think the predrop for jawbreaker is also pretty free (although the ship requires a lil bit of manouvering, which helps keeps it fresh), and the ball section is fine when you know where to go. What makes jawbreaker more difficult to me is just how long the wave feels in terms of consistent manouvering and small details required to not crash into a wall. The first part of the jawbreaker wave is honestly really fun for me and is usually consistent. There's a weird transition at 62% i believe through a blue portal where you have to delay your first click because of a saw above but then quickly manouver slightly upwards right after in order to not hit the diamond before going through the fake wall. It's an awkward timing which caught me off guard a lot, but not too bad. Then comes 70% which introduces multiple gravity and size switches, as well as various shapes and paths and tightness, plus the 85% bug with the yellow portal which requires the tiniest little click to adjust properly into the next section. Then comes both of the dual mini waves which transition very quickly so if you're not leveled out enough it wont work properly, and on the first one, the clicks aren't even fully consistent/timed the same between which feels irregular with the natural flow. I do think nine circles can be more annoying to beat due to silly mistakes, caused mostly by its length (and potential trip-ups in the final cube), however in terms of overall difficulty i would consider jawbreaker as harder than nine circles due to its demanding wave accuracy and irregularity in click patterns, as well as overall endurance (even though the wave times of each level are about the same, jawbreaker simply feels like it requires more endurance because of its irregularity), and because the non-wave sections of both levels are mostly pretty easy/negligible besides any silly mistakes.
