Hello Moyo, My name is Tope from Nigeria. I really found your videos very useful. I love care support job, But I'm having a challenge and I don't know how you can help me with that?
@@oluwaleyeeyitope3441 it is currently difficult for carers from abroad to get a sponsorship job in the U.K. and I don’t currently know anyone that can help with that. So sorry

Beautiful story my sister ❤ May GOD sustain and preserve your union in Christ Jesus mighty name!
You're just too funny 😂😂
Thanks 😊
Hi Moy! I must confess, your content is what I really needed. I'm eager to come to the UK to enable me get a chance to work and earn something reasonable in other to be able to take care of my family. My question is, how far can an ACA and CPD certificate as a Caregiver go in the UK?
Im not sure I understand what ACÁ and CPD stands for but really you don’t need any certification as such to work as a carer but having some health related certification would boost your chance of getting a job especially for someone applying from outside the UK
Thanks for this video my sister
Thank you so much
You’re welcome
Do you administer iv medications?
@@jem_790 no we don’t
Thank you for sharing your experience through your work and may gods bless you!!
Amen thank you
Thanks for the amazing talk. If I may ask, how would you know when to leave them alone
When you are at risk or danger yourself and also if possible the environment is safe for the person showing aggression sometimes it’s just best to give them space to calm down and always follow their care plan
This was very helpful thank u
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for the vedio..you look good ..be blessed

Hae mum How can i get care giver job Am from kenya please I like your videos so much
Can't one work 60hr per week
You can if your company allows that and has enough hours to give I have worked 56hrs a week before
Thanks a lot .. ❤
You’re welcome

Thanks
What would you do if challenging person tried to grab you or may cause harm to you?
In such situations you’ve got to protect yourself if someone tries to grab you you move away ensure the environment the person is safe if that is possible before leaving the place and call for help if the person is getting really aggressive and also record and report it as soon as possible
I said if that is possible because some people could get really aggressive that you might be trying to clear their environment and that could cause them to hit you in the process so you need to do a risk assessment. Most of the time you should have known your client by reading their care plan and when you find yourself in such situations that would help you make the right judgment
You are a natural ❤and you are going very far...welldone
Amen thanks a lot
Hi Sis, can you recommend any recognized certifications that I can do in support. I want to do a certification that can boost my chances of getting a support work please 🙏
Where are you living? Speaking from experience, in Australia you can study a free TAFE course called "Certificate III in Individual Support". That will give you qualifications to start working as a care assistant in residentials or community services workplaces, or in clients' homes. After the Certificate III in Individual Support, you can go on to study further for the "Certificate IV in Disability Support" if you want to. This will open up more career opportunities such as being an integration aide.
@@opheliamaplesThanks, Im in the UK presently
You really don’t need a certification but I’ll recommend NVQ 2 or 3 in health and social work
Hi where is the care home and is there vacancy? Im also looking for work as a support worker. Anyway you are doing a good job.
I presently don’t know anyone recruiting now
Do you mind sharing your contact
I’ll like if you can share your experience on your first day of working as a support worker 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
Nice video sis keep them coming i am just starting that role bless you
Thank you 🙏
Hello thank you for this video. Please i want to ask, where can i apply for these jobs and what training i need to take before i can get these kind of jobs. Please can you share links? Thanks so much
As a support worker you can be employed by a range of private, commercial or government employers, and work in a diverse range of places from private homes to residential or community care facilities. Example, in clients' homes, aged-care residential facilities, retirement/lifestyle villages, or government programs I am in Australia. Here, it is possible to get a entry-level job as a support worker without qualifications and then get the qualifications via traineeship while you're working. However getting the employment in the first place is difficult. Most people study and get their qualifications first to boost their employment opportunities. In Australia, we need to complete a "Certificate III in Individual Support". There are several institutions (TAFE) that offer this study course. After completion, you can start working in the industry with this qualification. If you want to boost your career, you can move onto studying for further qualifications in disability support and ageing support. And if you really want to, you can even utilise this study pathway to get a diploma in nursing and then hopping over to a university to obtain a bachelors in nursing to become a registered nurse. .
