From the live rehearsal show at NYC’s City Winery the night before the recent Carnegie Hall celebration of The Music of Crosby, Stills, and Nash. “Helplessly Hoping” was the B-side of “Marrakesh Express” and on the eponymous first album of Crosby, Stills, and Nash (Atlantic Records, 1969).

I can't believe this is the only version of Steve and Stacey doing this song on TH-cam. Saw them together in Pittsburgh (when Transendental Blues came out) with the Dukes and it was exquisite. Stacey was so good and so cute. For some reason she had the mic really high and had to stand on her tip toes to sing into it!
I think she’s going to open some of Steve’s dates this summer. She’s fabulous.
