Isn't Davy Jones wonderful!
I was born in the late fall of 1978. I love watching reruns of The Monkees Televison show and the rerun of the Brady Bunch when Davy Jones guest starred as himself! Davy Joes is very cute and extremely talented! The Monkees recorded many spectacular songs! Davy Jones, Peter Tork and Mike Nesbeth are all in heaven! They were all taken to heaven way too soon! I love this video!
Encanto de muchacho!!! Era un muñeco por lo guapísimo!!! Talentoso, con muchas cualidades!!! Y con una voz de principe azul, voz de ensoñación ! I love❤ Davy Jones forever!!! L love ❤ the monkees!!!
Favourite of all time - still in love ❤
Aaaah - still in love ❤
His voice was phenomenal here! He went into musical theatre mode. Beautiful!
Timeless songs.
Did you notice that Davy Jones never met Bob Denver? He would've chewed out Bob Denver for being a complete klutz possessing cocaine. That's early life fame and later life tragedy for you. Bob Denver failed to be honest in his later life. Bob Denver should've been with Elvis Presley in his early life. It's a misfortune that Tom Hanks was never a Bob Denver fan.
What a cutie
had the biggest crush. what a guy.
Omg! Thank you
I so wish he would have been in the film version of Oliver.
So do I but perhaps producers considered him to old
I love Davy Thomas Jones since I was preteenager and now I am 69yrs old
Loved since I was 11 yrs old. Now I’m 69 yrs old
Same im 65 and loved the monkeys especially Davy
I saw the Monkees when I was 8. I loved them. Wholesome. Sweet.
brilliant on so many levels...
Love that song ,r.i.p.davey
RIP Davy Jones
Love Davy and The Monkees. My childhood memories. 58 this year and takes me back to being a young child.
I'm 14 again and still in love with Davey
Great vocal.
Pebble mill is something that brings back memories.
He was such a doll!🥰
We miss you Davy. My first crush.
Only 1 left----Sad!!
Had the pleasure of meeting Davy. Gotta say he was very funny and quick witted. Also got to meet John Stewart, the songwriter of this song. Another great personality. He was one of my favorite singer-songwriters. He did some work with Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks. He was also a later member of the Kingston Trio (his early years). Look him up, he developed a very unique voice when became older. He also has passed on.
🙏RIP
I loved this song. He aged well. He has a great voice.
Davy Jones was a good singer, we can hear in this video...I love this beautiful song... R.I.P. Davy
How old is he here?
Culture change ruined a best part of America
68 now! Always will be a great song!!!
Weird to think that this was nearly 40 years ago, and it was already 18 years since the Monkees were launched. And Davy has been gone for 11 years. Time sure does zip along.
My first crush at nine years old. Oh how I cried when he passed I had the opportunity to meet him when I was about 12 or 13 memory I’ll never forget.
Such a great song, with a great singer!
He's lipsyncing. Heard better at a junior high talent show.
How cruel
You are right, but you should use pronouns so you don't sound like a toothless clodhopper.
This guy and the other Monkees had an unbelievable amount of goodwill with the public. People just loved those guys, especially DavyHe was an angel.
My mom liked him And i liked him in the 80’s as a teens when the monkees came back out 😞
the touch of Broadway that Davy brought to the Monkees contributed to their success.
I don’t care what anybody says I loved The Monkee’s show and their music, and yes they did prove themselves as some good musicians in live concerts ….only Mickey is left now but us fans will never forget all the members 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ok.dear.
The Monkees rule!!!
Going thro the motions...was paid $$$ enough
I love this song. I sure miss him. Saw him once in concert in his 70's hopping around the stage like he was in his 20's.
He was 66 when he passed ! He did always have an energetic performance.
Horrible
ooh LOL! Miss you Davy!
He actually looks better than the earlier years and sounds great!
His best song. Missing Davy. He was always a classy guy. RIP Davy Jones.
He was always so admirable and kind. God bless him.
When I was a kid 100 million years ago my father used to work as a doorman and bellhop this one time he was working at the Howard Johnson's on 8th Avenue 52nd Street monkey stayed there one night my old man encountered one of the guys saying you're not my dad like to get friendly we're both Cancers and we like meeting people just talkin that's the sign Cancer and not the disease he found out from one of the guys in the band if they were looking for a new lead singer at the time I was 17 it just so happened to be a lead singer in a band in my neighborhood so my old man told him came home told me and the rest of that is just plain emptiness cuz nothing ever happened LOL really I the show
