You're not wrong about the light bright. The one I had as a kid was sturdy as! And you really had to pull those little pegs to get them out. I still think she will love it. They are still fun

Also, that baby doll is so cute. Can I ask where did you get the head (for doing hair)? My daughter wants to go into cosmetology and I think she would like to have one of those to practice on
