This slab required some demo to replace some rotted pilings. We poured over the old slab because it was basically sound with no cracks. We poured a footing deeper and outside of the old slab to incase it.

This house had a good slab, but it was getting water in under the house. We raised the slab 2" to get the grade above the dirt line.

We had every thing ready 3 weeks before we poured, except the street tie in. We had 2/3's of the drive ready and we could have driven a truck up to the house. We where going to get a partial inspection. Then the rain hit, we could no longer get the truck on the lot, so we had to pump. It no longer made sense to not do the whole thing. That led to this pour with the pump.
How long has that been ready?

What a fucking annoying concrete job. You must hats when you get those ones. Wow. I still watched. Our crew same . Pretty quiet just get it done. Lol
I just bid on a slab that has an elevator pit in it. This means that we need to lay it out to match the pit and the outside of the slab to make the squares look good.

When I had my land, construction workers did not observe where lines extended out and many were cut from the house, you checked out the property, the plans and took the time to be cautious and considerate and careful , looking good to make a job well done

Funny story. The plans had a line drawn on it and several things on plan, and the site needed some clarification . I talked to 3 people at the in the office to get clarification. During this conversation I said, "What is this line? Everyone said they didn't know and to disregard it. I got to thinking that there was no step down , usually we get a cross section to show details on the step down. So I called them back and pointed this out. They said, "Oh, that is a wheel stop. That size is determined on site. So we had to measure the client's biggest car to determine the size of the parking part.
