The problem is that by the time you reach Act 3 and get these build defining items, the game is pretty much over anyway. It has pretty bad gear progression.

Spore Druid is 100x better at being a Necromancer than any Necromancer in 5th Edition or BG3.

I LOVE necromancy. In one of my runs Gale is a necro wizard with the shadow lantern and halsin a spore druid. All the dead buddys / bodys fighting with us 😍
