Ben Barnes has come such a long way from his role as Prince Caspian, and Dorian Grey. Those films were the first ones I saw him in. His performance from the start caught my attention, followed his works ever since. Put aside his perfection looks, the way he carries himself, and speaks his lines is just some of the best I have seen from an actor to this day. I cannot wait to see his performance in Season 2. Thanks for uploading.

As someone who has not read the novels and was not familiar with the Grishaverse beforehand, "Shadow And Bone" has turned out to be one of the best new series I've seen in years. Let's just say that I am well outside the target audience for the show and the books. I wouldn't fall under the core fandom for either of them. Yet I thoroughly enjoyed this show. The cast, the production values, the special effects, the sets and settings as well as the wonderful soundtrack (special shout out to Joseph Trapanese). While the first season was not perfect (and it doesn't have to), this show has a lot of potential for further growth and development, and I mean that as a positive. I would add that perhaps ten episodes, instead of eight, might have given the story and characters a bit more breathing room to evolve, but it is what it is and that is just perhaps nitpicking. I am definitely happy that the show got renewed for a second season and am looking forward to it. The only downside...the damn waiting time between seasons...

Agreed. I haven't read the books, and I usually don't like YA fantasy (more of a ASOIAF type of reader myself) and yet I loved this series. Far better than the later seasons of the Witcher.

@@emanabbas1247 there are so many but see if u talk about old N classic ones just like Dracula then there is phantom of opera, wuthering heights (not fantasy but same bad guy vibes), the devil in winter( book), interview with vampire. Beside them you can surely find many bad guy trope show like Buffy the vampire Slayer, TVD/TO ofcourse many more
