Eerie Modular Synth Ambience using Morphagene//Mimeophon//Beads

3 or so minutes of modular synth ambience Made up mostly of my voice time stretched reallllll slow with Morphagene, along with some granulated drum hits thru Beads and Mimeophon.
In A Daze || Synth track featuring the OP-1field, Oxi One Sequencer, and Morphagene

Drum loop is being played back using Morphagene, and running thru Beads to get the added texture of reversed grains. That hi-hat sound is actually a recording I took of a fountain in Phuket. I edited it on the OP-1 and it came out pretty sweet! OP-1 is all playing thru Mimeophon for some added width and complexity. Im using the Oxi One to play the Vector Wave manually, and also to playback a pr...

Awesomw! where did you get that "phone" mic?
@@podria thanks yo!! 😁😁 okay it’s actually from Etsy! There’s someone who makes em in a bunch of different colors!
Awesome well done
Really great!
ah thanks so much yo :)
Hey do you know the model name of the device the out 1 & 2 cables connected to?
Oh yeah totally! The outputs are going into the Teenage Engineering TX-6. It’s a super tiny battery powered mixer. It’s the center of all of my gear essentially.
Great track!
Was that vocals looping in the s4?
Yaaaa exactly. I’d recorded them in and left them to continuously loop and be processed by the S-4
Im back
@@DerekAnthonyBrown lmao you fool
:)
what tuning are you using on the guitar? definitely doesn't sound standard but i'm too lazy to figure it out lol
@@digitalelixer hahaha I THINK it’s just tuned a half step down most likely!? haha I don’t rmemeber but that’s what I usually leave my guitars tuned to
Is the sync working on the s4? ... Nice track by the way ❤
@@AlzheinerTV ah thanks so muchhhh yo :) And still not sadly! Hahah I’ve been doing my best to make it work… but I am DYING for sync haha
Good job mate ❤
Great music. The editing and studio is so chill.
Haha ahhh thanks so much Harry! :)
amazing performance!! loved you switching between guitar and keys like call and response, but the whole track was amazing
hahah ah thanks so much yooooo :)
oh, what a great song! Do you use torso t1 with your digitakt 2? I'm searching for a midi controller and don't know if torso for Digitakt 2 is still needed or should I look for Faderfox UC4/EC4?
Nice song!
Infinitely inspirational. So spot on for what I want music to be <3
Whaaaaaat?!? hahah dude your stuff is incredible… coming from you I am honored
This is really good, interesting to see how you used these peices of gear..... I really appreciated your vocal style too it compliments the instrumentation beautifully. Instant subscription <3
ahhhh made my day for real! haha thanks so muchhhhh😁
Love the vibe, mix, composition, treatment. Needs a million more views.
Haha ahhhh thanks so much for real 😁😁
Lovely❤
I didn't know I needed this right now. Great performance!
Ah thanks so much yooo 😁😁😁
also living for the zoom-in to the vibing cat! 3:57
what an amazing LIVE track!!
INCREDIBLE
Sick!
Good stuff well done. Been considering the S-4 to complement the Digitakt II. So you're using the Digitakt as a drum machine, and then samples/effects on the S-4? Is the Digitakt sending MIDI to the S-4? Curious how you're using them individually.
Ah thanks so much!!! So right now the S-4 still doesn’t have MIDI sync! (Update coming next month is to include that) so in this example the Digitakt is drum machine as well as that simple back and forth chord progression. That’s just another sample playing from the digi. The S-4 is set to the same BPM but no actual sync. It’s chopping up a vocal line is sang previously, and then after singing some more that is recorded as a second track of vocal chops also coming from the S-4. There are still two s-4 tracks that didn’t get used here!
🤙🌊👻
Nice vid! What are you powering the unit with?
Ah thanks yoooo!! It’s an Anker 65W battery pack, and it’s really great for powering most small gear off of! Allows me to use some of this stuff from the couch when I want.
@@rawpawss and you have a special wire to plug it in the DC plug of the Torso?
@@sampero648 yaaaa was just an adapter from Amazon that goes from usb c to the power plug. Also works with the Digitakt
That's an amazing jam and video. Well done.
2024 and forever
Hahahaha

I love it ❤ what’s your modular setup?
Another jam to soothe my soul!
your cover is great, added to my playlist
This is absolutely beautiful
Ah whaaaaat thanks so much yo! :)
real nice man, whats that keyboard you using?
Ah thanks so much!! That’s actually an OP-1 Field, and it’s what’s playing back the arpeggios as well!
Delicious and chill. Subbed
Thank you. It was wonderful.
Earned a new sub
🔥🔥🔥
Well done, nice voices!
Excellent!
sweet
❤❤❤❤
Great cover! Could have really been souped up by playing the intro, but it's hard so I get it.
Awesome, dig the track. I've got a lot of similar gear here (strega, morph, 0-ctrl, op-1), but wtf is that thing you're feeding into the strega?!
OH right hahah so it’s an electromagnetic mic called an “Electrosluch” it’s made by a company called LOM. They make a whole range of strange microphones. Super cool stuff.
@@rawpawss hell yeah, I've seen other similar devices. Just one more question: it harmonized so well with the track, so did you tune everything beforehand to the readings it was giving off? Again, nicely done
@@cowleyaustin haha great question! No actually! I was using it for a different video that I guess I haven’t posted yet here! And it just so happened that what it picked up from my keyboard was perfectly in key. My other electronics weren’t… this just happened to be so I included it haha

Ah thanks so much!! :)
Very cool rig!
Thanks so much Jean!! :)
Awesome my friend!
