Hi Lou What a beuatiful rendition of this song .I don´t think you can class Ann Hathaways version as singing very well acted but not sung.This is the best version I have ever heard.Lucy doesn´t need any pitch correction or anything else she is just incredible.

Hi Lou Thanks for you continued support of Lucy & Martha.I was at her concert in London and had a chance to speak to her at the meet & greet and she is such a lovely person she makes you feel that you are important to her. I have run clubs and night clubs over the years and have had many of the top acts performing and know what many of them think of their fans and forget who put them where they are and wouldn´t give them the time of day. Lucy is not only a great artist but also a great and humble young Lady who actually cares about her supporters.She has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard and I have heard a lot. One problem I have is that I can´t hear what you are saying the volume is very low.

Lou, I have to agree that AJ has a fabulous voice when she sings and a fantastic personality. Some of AJ’s work I really enjoy. For me all the bells and whistles are just too much at times. I have actually followed AJ longer than Lucy. I just prefer Lucy’s voice control and profound pronunciation of the lyrics. To each its own. Lue, us supporters of Lucy and Martha have determined that the harmony you hear is known as "blood harmony," so extremely rare. These young ladies are blessed, but us supporters more so.

I heard this song around 1990 at a Young Messiah concert before Michael English even released it on his album and have listened to many, many renditions over the years but have never heard it arranged or sung like this before. Lucy and Martha just absolutely take this song to another level. Everything they sing is as good or better then the original in my opinion. I envy that you are able to listen to all of Lucy's songs for the first time and you have a lot to look forward to...about another 60 to go. But....seriously? A.J. does have a lot of vocal talent and voice control and skill as a singer and she seems like a really good person, but her voice is just soooo gravely and annoying I can't even listen to her. I tried to like her, but she sounds like dragging a trash can down a gravel driveway.

You mentioned Lucy's character and her video after Manchester. Well, for her London concert, October 22 nd, Lucy wrote a full page note to all of her supporters in the show program. It was so classy, so sweet and so caring and she ended it with "I hope I make you proud". Not "I hope you enjoy the concert", or "I hope you enjoy the music" or just "enjoy". But rather " I hope I make you proud". Who does that? What artist of her caliber cares that much about her fans. Even, according to Lucy herself, she prefers to refer to us as supporters, not fans. And you will notice that in any cameos or videos, she does refer to us as supporters. To Lucy we are extended family, especially those of us who have been on this journey with her since she was a child. She is a remarkably humble young lady who you cannot help but adore. Lucy just recently hit 1,000,000 subscribers on her you tube channel. And she wanted to do a video for us. Again just thanking us for our support and recognizing that she is nothing without us. Her official fan Club, of which I am a part of, is privy to all sorts of information, videos, cameos and family stuff and all things Lucy. To that end, feel free to ask me any questions, regarding Lucy, if you get to looking for an inside source.

Hi, SLM, this sounds infinitely better. An easy way to improve your own voice sound quality may be to put a curtain/carpet on (part of) one or 2 of the walls to kill sound reflections ex: behind the cam and a side wall. Happy experimenting😀

The more you listen to them now, the more you can appreciate how they have grown over the past 5 years. Keep listening and I'll keep watching.

Great reaction. This is posted on Justin’s MacKenzie’s Chanel, I believe he is part of the Air Force band and did all the arrangements for the show. It certainly showcases Haley’s talent and also the whole band and was certainly a great finale as the audience reaction shows. I also love Haley’s studio recording of this carol which has a much simpler arrangement but Haley’s vocals are so beautiful and sincere. It’s on her own Channel.

Have Yourself A Merry Christmas " is just one example of Lucy's beautiful voice. Lou you must look into Lucy's musical " Rosie " written by Chris Broom & sung by Lucy Thomas & cast. The music & songs from this musical are just so amazing. Merry Christmas Barbara.

I think this rendition by Lucy, would even raise Celine Dion's eyebrows. Lucy's classical training shows in as much you don't get those nasal sreeching and screaming on those high note, just a perfect execution of the song--any song Lucy performs. Just an exceptional young singer.

Nice reaction. From the point of view of maturity in Lucy's voice , take a look at a song from her forthcoming musical Rosie. There is a song called "Broken Dreams." This illustrates Lucy's impressive versatility in genre. She performs in character with period dress in this classical crossover song. She is a pretty incredible artist and hats off to her producer and mentor Chris Broom when he spotted this thirteen year old school girl back then and now at the age of nearly 21, making her one of the best female vocalist in the world today. Oh and as a contrast to "Broken Dreams, do a reaction to Lucy's live performance of the classic Etta James " At. Last. It'll knock your socks off!!!!

Lucy will play the title role in the forthcoming theatrical production “Rosie the Musical. It has its own TH-cam channel featuring multiple songs by Lucy spanning the past 7 years. You might check out the live concert version of “We Can Change the World” recorded earlier this year.

The video is from the family living. The audio sounds like coming from the studio. Even at 14 she sang well above her age: listen to LISTEN or NEVER ENOUGH with your eyes closed and guess her age... This young lady puts some effort in the things she does.

If you want to hear Lucy sounding old school, listen to her cover of the Etta James song "At Last". That song transports me back to 1960 in a night club, watching Sinatra and the Rat Pack listening to her with their jaws dropping.

Thank you for reacting to Lucy Thomas and her sister Martha. Lucy is the best vocalist that I have ever heard in my 70 years on the planet and the sisters' duets are the best that I have ever heard. You were intrigued because many of Lucy's supporters are from the USA. Lucy made her West End London debut in a live concert at the iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane that dates back to 1663 with the current building built in 1812. It is an Andrew Lloyd Webber Theatre. Over the years, I have gone to musicals, symphonies, big bands, operas, chamber music, and popular music but never traveled outside of my East Tennessee home and had never bought tickets just to hear a singer. Lucy is not just a singer, she is the best singer whom I have ever heard recorded - period. I bought tickets for my wife and adult daughter, and we traveled London just to hear Lucy where we met other supporters from Australia, Japan, Europe - from all over the world. We had all traveled just to hear this phenomenal young woman perform. We were all richly rewarded with a performance far better than anything that she has recorded. She was stunning! We got to meet her in person the following day and she is an outstanding We are not wealthy but are planning to go to see Lucy in 'Rosie - the Musical' in the UK. There is hope that she might have a concert in Japan, and we will go to it as well. Again, Lucy is the best non-operatic singer whom I have ever heard since there have been recordings. I believe that she will eventually be recognized as the best singer of all time. No one emotes as well as Lucy. This performance is a good example of that.

For probably 99% of the time she has the melody in mind and is figuring out lyrics to that melody, or having a lyric come to her first and then creating the melody. If you watch the documentary Miss Americana, you will see Taylor sitting at the piano figuring out both melody and lyric. Then when she gets in the studio she is very aware of what sound she wants and the direction of the final product. She is very hands-on and takes great pride when it all comes together the way she imagined. She is a masterful lyricist and has a great creative mind.
