    I always thought Benny EX was overpowered, but apparantly the X-Spark Cannon is EVEN MORE overpowered. I honestly don't like the X-Spark Cannon because it's just such a free "get out of jail" card that takes very little skill to use. With most BFG variants, it would still take a lot of skill and patience to kill something like Benny EX, but the X-Spark Cannon is just so cheap imo. I guess that leaves the fist and pistol as the only weapons I don't hate from the BTSX weapons pack. Speaking of Benny EX, that's literally like a 1 in 17000 chance. That's rough. Also, congrats on reaching 100 subs. I'll catch up to you one day, mark my words!

    That abyssal PE got a nice jump on you Also this made me notice that the cyan PE drops the class call for cyan lost souls and not the cyan lost souls themselves so you got some wrong spawns there with the lowered spawn rate option on, whoops

    Probably the best soundtrack in the wad imo. Too bad we didn't get to see another 4 bosses. Also, that Nanocore item is pretty trash it seems, it always lasts for like 2 seconds before the tiny buffs wear off.

      This whole wad have incredible OST. The nanocore's buff can be seen around the ammo values displayed as a pink light. It also make some pink particles float around the player, but I disabled those.

      @@dewzan Yeah, it lasts until you take 25% of the health you had when you activated it. There's an option to make it last a short time based on current life, but I think it's more reliable like this.

    8:39 Joe once again proving to be pretty lame. I thought they were able to go through monster blocking lines? I'll make sure that Joe EX isn't so easy. 28:04 I disagree with that X-Spark Cannon shot, though at least you got two extra shots as a reward. White Caco phase 2 is also not really able to move while the orbs are around them, the orbs block them in all directions and White Caco's movement is pretty weird because of it, usually just moving back and forth in the same room. Hege should make White Caco be able to go through the orbs so they can chase you next time. 35:17 Ending off the journey with everyone's favorite goat demon (not the baron).

      Yeah I agree, or maybe make the buffed shot stronger, that would be cool. I turned off the no clipping revs a long time ago, and now I'm curious if it will still bother me haha I've set it to random.

    I played this map once to test out the secondary tiers for explosive tier, needless to say it was very frustrating. Player 9 is actually just an online troll named Steve who hacks into random games of Colourful Hell to troll the player. He's not very good at the game though. 18:15 It's the Mike Tyson squad. 20:52 Loki Shade gets rekt by the green machines at the end.

      They should not haha And the worm got killed by it, still worth tho. Yeah, blue cyber seems even weaker than a normal cyber; and I remember Hege already buffed it's damage. Maybe he needs a mechanical rework, or maybe just speeding it up would do the trick.

      I just tested it on the black hk and benellus, they also take no damage. It seems that the damage reduction is completely negating the mechreaper's dmg. Does the damage reduction have a flat component to it on top of the percentage reduction? Or maybe it round down small values; because I think mechreaper does a lot of small hits packed together, which causes some lag on my end when I use it really close to an enemy.

      Apparantly the Machreaper is made up of a million railgun shots that do 1 damage, and gray manc has 0.65 resistance, so the damage gets floored down to 0. Machreaper is dumb.

    1:11 That was a close one. I almost feel like Explosive Demon/Spectre isn't threatening enough anymore. 17:22 I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THAT! Abyss imp was not always the roach sprite from what I remember, so I guess Hege just didn't change the gib death at all for some reason. I'd add that on his bug fixing list. I've been complaining about the roach sprite for years not being fitting for an imp, and now we know the ultimate truth; that it's just a disguise, a mirage, an imp who likes to dress up as an alien for halloween.

      Well, I don't know yet if they're not threatening anymore, but I'm glad the spectre is no longer cheap as it was. Yeah that gibbing animation looks out of place haha but I think the abyss imp sprite looks perfectly fine.

    Joe the Juggernaut should probably be a bit more aggressive, it's really easy to just have him run towards you for a long time and do nothing. The CH+ juggernaut has it so that he can do his meteor attack ANY time he wants, so that you can't just hide from him and kill him later. You still could, since it usually takes a while before he meteors you from the other side of the map. 12:50 That was certain death you just dodged right there. Today marks the beginning of Annual Lift Appreciation Day.

      Joe got some big brains there, escaping my bfg shot; it seems it can jump off ledges even when it's not targeting the player. I wish he could infight, would be fun to watch. That bfg shot from the chaingunner would kill me there? I was almost full health and armour 😲

      Robert can't even infight and monsters do infight him, which makes him die to anything he hits basically haha I don't know, I actually like the machreaper; but it's hit detection is just horrible.

      @@LokiShade91 It seems like Robert is the reverse scenario of Black imp. The machreaper's hit detection is bad, which is exactly why I do not like it. Even still, I don't think it's that cool or interesting. My opinions are always based around how stuff is mechanically, rather than thematically, as you've likely noticed.

    So far, this might be my least favorite weapons set in Final Doomer, mechanically speaking. It seems that every weapon (aside from the pistol and melee weapons) from what I gather so far seem to have it's issues. The shotgun/chaingun are a bit weak, the super shotgun is janky, the rl and plasma take a long time to wind up and feel awkward to use, same for the BFG kind of. That being said, it's kind of crazy that you didn't damage the purple demon at all at 3:35, probably my least favorite weapon in Final Doomer so far, even more than the Ofuda Caster.

      The chainsaw replacement buffs all the weapons as long as you don't lose 25% of the health you had when you activate it. The buffs are nothing spectacular, but helps with some weapons, like it removes the wind up time of the plasma and bfg. But if you lose the buff you cannot activate it again in the same map. So yeah... lots of gimmicks in this set. But I still like it, altough it may also be one of my least favorite ones; still pretty creative and very well done. Once you get used to the jankiness of it it's not so bad.

I've been thinking about making a setting for CH+ that allows bosses to get resurrected for the people who like chaos such as myself, does that seem like an awful idea to you?

      The distance of the shots from the machreaper were a bit off, but it should've at least dealt some minor damage, that's weird.

    This wad should be pretty fun. I'm not so sure I'm a fan of the SSG variant "Machreaper". It seems too reliant on close range to be an SSG variant. Also, sorry I didn't catch this vid yesterday, I may or may not have been doing a 12 hour doom marathon.

      Yeah the ssg in this weapon set is pretty niche, and it's vetical aim damage don't work properly. Monsters a tiny bit up the player receveive almost no damage from it; but if you can get in the monster's face it is extremely powerful. Also, the normal shotgun and the chaingun replacement are pretty weak, but the plasma gun and the BFG are extremely OP; so it's a weird weapon set for sure. Haha, no worries. A 12 hour doom marathon sounds like a good time.

      Oh you're right, I restarted the map to test what you said and a green cybie spawned, after I killed him the map ended normally. Yeah, it could've been worse.

      Ok, so I tested it a bunch of times and all the optionals ones, except for fireblu, do end the level normally, I've got all of them. All normal colours works normal too. I got one black cyber and it did not end the level, just like fireblu. I didn't get any white ones. And it seems that Dewzan's explosive one is making the map end instantly (it happened a bunch of times, and since I've got all the spawns except for white and explosive, it must be it)

    Hey I've played this map before, it was in HEROES.wad, probably the worst steaming pile of toxic garbage I've ever had the displeasure to play. I think is was E2M7 or something in that wad, and I didn't care for it all that much. Probably because HEROES uses the worlds most obnoxious sound effects for literally everything, which made the room with all the raising/lowering lifts especially bad. Please stay FAR away from that wad.

    Your RNG is pretty god dang awful isn't it. Two Benellus's. Benelli? Why does it always gotta be Benellus and not the undertaker? As Hege would probably say "At least they both weren't EX bosses." 17:37 Notice how every rocket only does around 100 damage instead of 200. In this case, both Benelli had 10K hp. Thankfully Hege has told me that he is planning to change the resistance to 25% instead of 50%, so hopefully we'll see that come within the next CH update. I also was told that the reason the resistance is there is because Benellus is supposed to be resistant to hitscan, which isn't exactly something you can do, so idk.

    Death and pain aren't edgy enough, how about DEATH PAIN!!! 0:51 That cyan spectre completely obliterated you. 79 damage at once, that's more than cyan spectre's max damage roll of 75. He spawns some ice spikes at the same time that add an extra few points of damage though, so 79 is absolutely insane. 9:18 Brown caco didn't play their death sound???

      Yeah, the first secret is tagged two times and it seems the second flag was unused. It is literally impossible to get, even with cheats.

    GG's on completing Resurgence! Was really fun to watch. Explosive Mastermind has officially shown up more times than Explosive Cybie? HUH!? The cyberdemon spawns were abysmal in this map. 17 cyberdemons and 16 of them are common and green. What even is that? 7:59 That's a pretty awful place for Black Mastermind to be in. I didn't know they could teleport to rooms that they normally couldn't go in otherwise. I also always thought their skull chewing obituary was unused, since it's a melee obituary when there's no melee attack. You didn't even shoot the hidden romero head in the exit hallway, 0/10 gameplay, unsubscribed! jk

      Thanks, it was very fun. I enjoyed this wad a lot. Yeah that sure was a lame cyber spawning, but oh well. During gameplay I didn't even noticed it that much, too much chaos haha I didn't know black mastermind could teleport out of rooms either. I tought it was going to die infighting out there but it barely took any scratches. Oh, I didn't know about the romero's head, damn hahaha

    Cool, we got Explosive Mind. Too bad he didn't do his enemy summons, both because I'm curious what went wrong on your end, and also because it's his best attack. When he does his enemy summons, he also makes every nearby enemy explode on death, too bad we didn't see that mechanic, as I'm sure it doesn't work super well. Noooooo, Explosive archie bugged out again. This time I have no idea how the shields spawned around YOU instead of him. I hope you understand now why explosive archie has been an absolute nightmare to work on. I don't even know how I can fix this. On top of that I still have a few balance changes I want to make, particularly with explosive chaingunner. Have you already started your next wad playthrough? I'd like to see you try concern.wad for your Doom 1 wads. It's probably the best Doom 1 wad I've played. Good luck on map 30 fella, and it looks like I was wrong, you don't pistol start map 30.

      When the mastermind summons (or make monsters explosive I'm no entire sure) the monsters keep sending out those small red balls sprites, like the ones you said you were annoyed about and was going to fix on the archvile. When the monsters are alive it's actually helpfull because you know they're gonna explode, but the red ball sprites continues after they're dead, making quite a mess when a large number of them die close to each other. I encountered another explosive mastermind in next map but unfortunately she also didn't summon anything. Yeah I can imagine that must be a pain to figure out. I don't know if it's noticeable on the video, but the shield was making hard to run around, it was blocking the movement sometimes. I just finished Resurgence, I have not started other wad, no, so I will take a look at the concern.wad for sure. It does pistol start the next map, but it seems gzdoom bugs it. When I played the map on DSDA it killed me at the end and pistol started the next map. I did IDCLEV to map 30 to pistol start it on gzdoom.

      @@LokiShade91 If that's the case of what you say happens with Explosive mind, that means my Explosive archie fix isn't going to work either. The way explosive archie's effect used to check was based on a CH+ exclusive inventory item that the enemies gave themselves on death, but the way explosive masterminds particles disappear is if it has less than 1 HP. I changed explosive archie to be the same way. I hope I can fix it with the next few days, maybe you should try a smaller wad in the meantime, idk.

      @@dewzan I'm thinking of playing the wads that final doomer's weapons sets are based on, and I'll keep doing some old and/or smaller ones in between. But don't worry if I have started the wad already, whenever you deploy an update I can pistol start the next map with the update on.

      @@LokiShade91 I just tested explosive arch and mastermind, and I am not getting any of the bugs that you seem to be getting. The particle spawners on the enemies are disappearing like normal when I kill them, so I have no idea what is happening on your end. Maybe we'll see if it continues after the update.
