Painting anything on the pavement instead of actually separating with barriers and things like that is kind of silly. Part of the problem that will really never be solved is that we allow cars to go way too fast around major population centers.

I hate some of the ones they've put in around here. They'll take up the entirety of the right turn lane without any place for cars to go behind them. I'm not even sure how motorists are supposed to get behind the box if there's parking permitted up until you hit the box.

Chip seal is garbage and unsafe. The perfect solution for crooked politicians and know-nothing DoT reps.

So why are my streets built like a gravel road after the said they were seal coating but end up chip sealing.

All of these comments are dumb, everyone thought this intersection would be terrible, but it’s actually been very successful and I never wait at this light long at all, besides turning left onto 36th St. from state is rare because you would just take Collister and turning left on veterans from State would also be rare because you would just take whitewater park. The U-turn turn lanes are never busy ever. Very good intersection for this location. Also well designed because eventually will have three turning lanes to go west on State Street.

I loved how the soul of the truck dressed in all white came out of the truck's body to explain the U-turn😅
