Great video! Going to KI in 3 weeks time…can’t wait!
Great video guys! Seems like you might have missed probably the best beach though at Western River cove?
I've just stumbled across you guys, but you no longer to TH-cam vids?
When and if you get to Townsville, visit Magnetic Island, Guarenteed to see Koalas on the walks. Also there is a place where tiny Rock Wallabies come down to touching distance. Don't try to feed them bread. Plant material is what they love, and rose petals are great. Of course, you can also hire a horse ride at Horseshoe Bay which takes you into the water. Great memories.
Anything you didn't get time to see? What's your best memory looking back after nearly a year?
Bells Beach is so unique because the 1st break happens so far from the shore, because [It is said] there is a rock formation there that causes it. And it is also said there are waves there even if the sea in like a millpond and super calm.
That’s interesting to know! It was a great place to visit ☺️
Which month was there? The weather was beautiful
We were there in November, it was perfect! ☺️
Another excellent video & I will be jumping onto Georges videos once I catch up. Really enjoying your videos & travel. Do you have Solar given you aim to free camp as much as possible on your lap?
We had a solar blanket but we didn’t use it too often. We had a DCDC charger which was great because we did so much driving ☺️
I have gone back to your very first video & I hear you with regards coming down hurts your knees more than going up, but I am 63 😘 I am really enjoying your videos and you both seem lovely
Thanks Neil! Appreciate your comments!
This is only my second video so I will go back & watch your other videos, but if you ever have a fire you can use a camp oven to cook things like pulled pork etc & freeze it.
That’s a great idea, we should have done that!
First time watcher and now subscribed 👌, definitely going to KI now in 2025 so thank you
Thanks so much for watching! KI is such a stunning place, definitely one to see ☺️
Sorry Guy's. It is not the Melbourne Open Tennis, it's the Australian Open. Logo : A O. Hope you enjoyed your short visit. There is so much more to do.
Thanks for watching! ☺️
It's a pity that you didn't have the time to spend around the Great Ocean road. There is literally hundreds of fantastic spots just off the road, for example, 5 minute drive off the GOR there's a small Sequoia forest plated in 1936 that's over 200 feet tall. The amount over waterfalls would take weeks to explore, most picnic areas have Kookaburras that will almost eat from your hand. At nighttime you can visit Platypus and Glowworms that inhabit certain areas. Even Rudyard Kipling called the place paradise when he visited in 1891.
That all sounds amazing! I’d love to visit again and explore it properly for sure :)
How many nights would you reccomend?
I would say at least 5 to get enough time to explore properly. The island is small enough that you can zig zag around instead of going in a circle if needed which is helpful if there are certain places you want to see with time constraints, or if the weather is better somewhere else on the island :)
Thanks for these wonderful Vids, your love of Australia is contagious. Your Aussie voice is so clear and easy to understand Rach, George is also very good but yours is perfect Rach. We are looking forward to the rest of your travels.. take care 👍🏼x
Thanks so much, I really appreciate the comment ☺️ there’s plenty more to come :)
The best Great Ocean Drive post by tourist I’ve seen, well done guys.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that ☺️
Sounds like a great time. Enjoy your day. New friend here.
Thanks so much 🤗
Awesome share, looks so nice, still Winter here in Virginia USA. Have a great day
It’s such a beautiful spot! Thanks for watching! ☺️
My pleasure @@rach_mac
Actually, it's one of the most famous surf beaches in the world. All the word's top surfers want to ring the bell that is part of the trophy you get for winning.
Good to know, thanks!

Thanks for watching!
some good info ... thanks for that. Just watched George's latest vid ... nice upgrade 😀 For your your next Q&A ; would you like to let us know who you both are, where you both came from, how you met. (yeah I know ... all the gory details 🤣) Having seen all of George's vids I know some of the answers but your audience , Rac, may like to know ...
That’s a good point, thanks! I love talking about that stuff 🤣 so I’ll add it in for sure next time 👌🏼
@@rach_mac Hey Rachelle, are you guys OK, haven't seen any vids for 2 months, hope you and George are doing OK and are safe
Great setup like the concept , safe travelling.
Thanks! Yeah we love how much space it has and also the outdoor living ☺️
I've missed the in-between story video. 🤷
Great vibes and footage!! ❤❤. Ah, they’re kangaroos not wallaby’s- wallaby’s are smaller and quite dark in colour 😜. Xx
Oh yes, we realised this after we actually saw our first wallaby 🤣 whoops! Thanks for watching! ☺️
Are you working while traveling?
Not at the moment :)
Very interesting to hear your actual spend numbers and that this is very close to the budget! You both look so well 3months into your adventure which shows you have a very good food program going on. Well done!
Yeah we were surprised but very happy that we are spending what we wanted to! Thanks! ☺️
Nice jee 👍
Thanks for watching ☺️
Thanks for such an in depth analysis of your trip so far. Keep up the great work. You are doing an amazing job with the $$.

Decision fatigue is so real 😅
Right?! It can be absolutely exhausting 😅
So sad you lost the drone! :( Love the video!
It was so sad! But George will get another one for sure. Thank you!! ☺️
Amazing! Thanks for sharing. 😀

Thanks for watching!
Fantastic cover. Your camera skills are impressive. Loved it.
Thanks so much! That’s George on the drone ☺️
Thank you for taking us to such beautiful places!!!! I'm really frustrated for you that the TH-cam algorithms aren't working in your favor so more people see you great vlogs. How about adding tags? Some people say they don't help but who knows??
Thanks so much, it’s great to hear you’re enjoying the videos ☺️ I’ll definitely look into it and see what I can do. Thanks!
Had such a good time here! 😀
Already planning our next trip 🤣
Oh yeah, you can't beat treats from a bakery as an energy booster! 👍
They’re the best!! ☺️
Nice jee 😁💯
Thanks!
Great editing to accompany the wonderful scenery. How good are those Koala's as Australian ambassadors.
Thank you! Aren’t they just gorgeous 🥰
Top shelf episode. 👍
Thanks so much! ☺️
Great first video. Agree climbing up is far better than descending especially on rough tracks!
Yep, I totally agree! Thanks for watching ☺️
George tipped me off to your channel. So now I have to set aside more viewing to follow your adventures (and dramas). As coffee lovers & for the times when you're far from the better cafes can I suggest you look at the GSI Java Drip. I pack one when I travel because you never know when you'll encounter a barista who has no frickin' clue about good coffee, I''m talking weak, burnt & plain awful. BTW I was waiting for you to try out those tyre deflators do get the Trayon off (TrayonOFF 🫤). Safe travels.
another great video, you're seeing some amazing places, keep 'em coming ✌🏻
Thanks so much! Yeah we are seeing some beautiful spots, loving it! ☺️
🤔So you had a 👍chicken parmigiana!💋Standard pub food.💕💕💕💕💕
Thanks for watching!
