    Vacuum up the spill. I’m a mason in the repair businesses and that’s how I clean up. You don’t need a large vacuum cleaner, a small one works great. If you look at the horse power there’s only one horse difference which most people never look at before purchasing

      Twin Auger machines are much nicer. Single auger machines are married to the contour of the ground and don't compact well.

    • @Frxstynah
      @Frxstynah 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, however the depth of the excavation wasnt possible with the machine so we went as far down as we could. Time was a factor as well as we were being rushed by other issues so we did dig a deep hole at bottom of steps and filled with gravel as a temporary drain to catch any residual rain water. A permanent solution will be dug out by hand and installed before pouring slab on top.

      Lil Bubba and curb king machine cost about $6000.00 new with the basic forms and trowels to start making curb.

  • @Frxstynah
    @Frxstynah 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Cement cakes up and sets on the augers especially in warm weather. Have to clean them off after every wheelbarrow load or the machine slows to a crawl. I didn't expect that so have to watch out. Also gas power would IMHO would be the better choice for more speed and freedom to work where there are no electrical outlets

  • @Frxstynah
    @Frxstynah 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Also keep in mind the machine has been used for a while so the augers probably have some wear so this particular machine might not go as fast as a brand new one. Also this machine is electric and has only one speed so perhaps the gasoline version might run a bit faster...however i haven't found one to test out yet. The augers are replaceable so I might order a new set to improve the efficiency. I saw on their website they have augers that are bigger around and move more material faster but since they mesh closer together, you can't run any sort of gravel with those ones--just sand mix.

    • @jaimehugo6777
      @jaimehugo6777 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gas machine definitely runs faster. More versatility as to where you can run it also.

  • @Frxstynah
    @Frxstynah 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Vibrating augers and housing are suspended below the hopper down inside the machine so the outside of the machine doesn't really vibrate too much. The vibrating parts touch the bottom of the rubber liner and shake it so the material slides down fast. Can't wait to see how a mix with cement will flow since it will be a bit stickier. So far looks like it will do a good job extruding curbs.
