I love your vibe and collection! Glad your video came across my page:) thanks
from Cambodia ❤
PSA: unless you live in tropical climate, alocasias will almost always go dormant (lose all its leaves or start growing much smaller leaves) in the cooler months. Your best chance to avoid that is to keep it in a warm spot with regular grow light exposure. In Puerto Rico my grandma grows giant alocasias outside! But never in direct sun, only on the shady side of her yard.
Definitely not a reflector, your’s has a more “papery/cardboard” texture while the reflector is absolutely velvety with a bright neon yellow strip in the middle of the leaf….. Your Dieffenbachia LOVES humidity, like if you have a bathroom window or plant cabinet, thats the kind of humidity I’m talking about lol…Dieffenbachia are my favorite kind of plants and you’re is beautiful!! Good luck!
I have a moon shadow and I love it. I bought it as a small rooted plant off Facebook marketplace. I am so glad I did. Hoyas are my favorite too.
"My source is..." 😂😂😂 Too funny lol.
Nice plants ❤
Let me give you a HOYYUHHHA
Beautiful plants!
technically you don’t own these plants cause you didn’t make the seeds and you just grew them so these basically aren’t yours!
Neither of these plants come from seeds as they are special variegated cultivars. They are propagated by cuttings always. I don’t own the cultivar, but I do own the specimens
Ooh, I need the lobbii. Especially if it’s a fast grower
That Palawan has beautiful shaped leaves.
Oh my lord that’s a lot of Hoyas!!
I want miribillis. They are so cute.
I prefer the coloring of an aurea, but they seem to yellow more than an Albo
Why?
The one that has darker green (Hoya carnosa inner variegated) is commonly mass produced by commercial growers for big box stores. It’s readily available and not very expensive. The one that is more silvery (Hoya carnosa ‘Argentea Princess’) isn’t in the commercial market. To buy it you’d have to find a smaller scale seller, and buy directly from the source. It’s slower growing, and sometimes when propagated it can lose its patterning that makes it valuable. Because it’s not very common and it can be tough to reproduce, it’s an expensive plant
lol 😂
Why you putting on the find the button song on roblox?
Haha. I feel the same way
Just lemme grow it out first lol😂
I just got two in past week. I have the same two and in love 😍.
I always recommend the multiflora to everyone especially if they want a nonstop bloomer
Yessss mine hasn’t stopped blooming since I bought it!
I think I have everything except the burtoniae, and maybe one other but I ordered the burtoniae and it’s being packed and shipped to me so it will be Here soon.
sp. aff. Burtoniae is a great Hoya! I love mine. I also have the inner variegated version!
Just kept the Hoya videos coming bill watch anything related to Hoyas.
Thank you so much for this video.
Are you saying I should only use my grow lights when there is light outside? Mimicking the daylight/night throughout the year?
I had three curtisii before I got my third one to grow. But I had to go through some root rot. But it’s doing very well in my front, west facing window.
You’re really good at showing the peduncles on the plants
Do you ever sell cuttings of your hoyas?
Best explanation of why hoyas grow slow.
Here in the pacific northwest where it rains skit I am able yo keto a humidity of 45-55 year round. But this summer it’s been up as high as the mid 60’s. I don’t need a humidifier.
My multiflora has dropped two peduncles stems. I only have the new points at the top.
That’s the best explanation of “aff” that I’ve ever heard. Thank you.
I know a lady that grows her Hoyas in a north facing room. She’s got the dark green leaves.
How long did you practice the new name of the patchyclada? Its a mouthful
I love all the information you give out.
You will love the multiflora bits and each plant to grow. I never babies mine. It bloomed four times in14 months. Enjoy it.
Yeah I think it’s time to pot up the plant in stratum
I think I have the same Hoya pubicalyx. It was labeled Hawaiian purple.
I’ll be back to watch you again.
Omg those Miribillis flowers stunning
Yeah, you need to clean up your plant room. And you need some shelves. Seriously. lol 😂
I was planning on moving so I was waiting on the shelving
Do you have a window in your bathroom?
I do :) it has pretty decent sunlight
You have the best luck with finding hoyas with peduncles already.
I’m curious, do you have a wet item down wish list or do you just set keep them in mind?
The Hoya lobbii looks and sounds like a cool one to have. I have a multiflora that has insane growth this year. At least 6 inches straight up with around 5-6 peduncles either blooming or waiting to bloom I think k it’s an underrated Hoya
The Palawan reminds me of a birds nest fern in the shape of the leaves.
I’m new here and excited to see your channel. I have subscribed. I’ve fallen down the Hoya rabbit hole, and hard, about a year ago.
Hello Ajay from Puerto Rico!! First timer on your channel and just subscribed. You have well taken care of Hoyas. I love Hoyas!! I recently started my English speaking channel and would appreciate your support. Thank you! 🪴
Nice explanation of all of the Hoyas !
Put your clothes on!
