That's a good point, it would be difficult for them to have separate announcements given how quickly news spreads in the FM community.

I think Zealand has done similar experiments, perhaps during the FM22 cycle. It's definitely an interesting idea, but would require quite a bit of time and effort to set that database up. Would be a cool future experiment!

I had planned to make him both footed but forgot about it when I was making him. It didn't affect the experiment so I didn't go back in and change it afterwards.

Interestingly enough, I did a perfect player experiment awhile back where I created multiple versions of the perfect player with different finishing player traits, and the player traits actually didn't make much of a difference to their scoring output. Player traits seem to be really good for maximizing output from different types of players (i.e., places shots for a striker with high composure, shoots with power for those with low composure, etc.), but it seems like when you have a player this good then player traits just don't seem to matter as much. I was also surprised when seeing how different attributes affect CA, but a lot of it does make sense. A lot of those attributes don't affect current ability but still affect other parts of the game. Current ability is a reflection of how the game thinks they will perform in the match engine, while determination and natural fitness are more related to things happening off the pitch (i.e., more recently determination being shown to affect training development/ability come back after injuries and natural fitness being related to the ability to recover after matches/age-related impact on attributes). So even though they don't affect CA/match engine, they still have a big impact on how successful a player can be throughout a season/career. I'm not totally sure about flair though, I feel like that's a hard attribute to represent in the match engine, so it may have a negligible affect on PA because of that? Zinedinho is a 15/10 name for a footballer, hope you're lab creation ended up becoming the GOAT!

Funnily enough this concept was actually one of the first videos I ever did, except I put them all on the Filipino National Team. It was a pretty interesting experiment, and they ended up winning the World Cup! I think it would could definitely be a fun experiment to do at club level, might be something for the future!

Good idea! Interestingly I've heard this is a common theme across a lot of people playing FM24 - that it's been harder to loan out players (especially when there's not interest to begin with). I'll look into it!
