I played League of Legends exclusively for 6 years, insisted i was having fun and refused to stop playing even when it made me upset. Played Hades for 10 hours and uninstalled LoL, i had forgotten what having fun in a video game actually felt like. Also no one has told me i'm a ''C*nt with a bloody pad under her who can only play support'' for playing badly yet! 10/10 great game.

This game legitimately may have the best soundtrack I have ever listened to. Beats Terraria, beats Calamity Terraria, beats Hollow Knight, beats Doom, beats Ultrakill, beats The Binding of Isaac, beats Risk of Rain 1, 2 and Returns, and might even beat Undertale. Absolutely phenomenal music for one of the best roguelites I have ever played. Incredible

I still get goosebumps listening to The Unseen Ones. Beat phase 3 first try, on a 49 win streak, then listened to it in the lobby and realized I had hardly heard it during the fight because I was so focused (but it did blow my mind hearing it in the fight too). Actually made me tear up, listening to it, and then knowing that my journey with the game had come to its end. It was the last challenge I had to do to get the platinum. I've never felt more accomplished playing a video game and probably never will.

Something about fighting through the underworld lends itself to soundtracks that are absolute gas. DOOM, Hades, Boltgun...

Normally most metal projects like this come off as being generic, but this was made with true artistic expression. This was made by someone who doesn’t just plays metal music to feel more bad ass than everyone else, this is someone who plays metal bc they like the music and they know how to express their creativity with it. Definitely not a poser metal project and there r times when it sounds like doom metal, and it isn’t dubstep metal like Doom Eternal music, (no shade if like tht kind of music) this is something tht bands like Pall Bearer, Dope Smoker, or BongRipper would do, Tht’s wut doom metal actually is and its one of my favorite sub genres within metal.

Really hope somebody makes a compilation like this but with ONLY the meaty bass riff versions you hear after clearing a chamber

this playlist is fucking dope, I love the Hades OST but literally had to search for "hades OST without any vocals" because, while those songs are beautiful in their own right, they throw me out of my flow state when I'm working and enjoying the metal instrumentals. This is a perfect hour of work/study material right here.
