Making a Cutting board style shelf
มุมมอง 4202 ปีที่แล้ว
We wanted a shelf on the front of our smoker to make it easier to transfer food to the grill so we made this butcherblock or cutting board style shelf from Padauk, Wenge and Maple. Learned some things along the way and we thought it would make for a good DIY step by step video for those that may want to give it a try. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

Building and Installing Cabinets Part 1
มุมมอง 4674 ปีที่แล้ว
Just moved into a new house and there was no storage in an already small laundry room so I decided to build my own cabinets and create a step by step video to help others that might be new to woodworking. I tried to match the cabinetry that already existed throughout the home. Given the size of the project, I split this into 2 parts...part 1 is constructing the cabinets and part 2 is staining, ...

Garage was overflowing with stuff and we needed more space so we bought some overhead shelves for our garage. Written instructions never really address challenges so we made a video showing the full, step by step installation process. Hope this helps.

    ... polyurethane... Nope. That's a thin film finish and will peel. Made that mistake when I made my first outdoor project.

    I really like this video, I made some yard art too , how do you light them? I use solar landscaping lights. I have I provide a stand up support for indoor display and support for outdoor. been asked if I would sell mine but not sure what to ask, any ideas here?

      @RoughRidersTV 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, we use solar lights as well. Haven't found any that do a great job, the Grinch requires 2 to light up the entire thing. But at least they are automatic and don't have to worry about turning on and off.
