The real hard part is to get experience. I have an HR licence non synchro yet every job I see wants experience. I have forklift too so I have worked doing delivery driving in smaller strucks and worked unloading and loading the HR and HC trucks. But hard to get a job driving the bigger ones. The license is good to have. But getting experience especially with loads and restraints is hard. Your driving in Melbourne in which just about everyday someone hits a bridge too because they forget about the height of their vehicles. It is really critical in Melbourne to know the routes around the low bridges.

In turkey and europe countries we use it. Also i applied to work and holiday visa i hope i can get it. Is there any chance to find to jobs in there?

Ive been ripped off my so many companies, owner drivers are treated like 💩, we have to invest in the veichle/truck face 100% of the cost of operation eg rego , insurence, public liablity And all these companies still pay below the recomened range, its a insult at this point.. the whole industey deserves to collapse.. and i personally went 10yrs company driver to owner with deep regrets, once i finish my repayments im permanently exiting the whole industry, Let them keep complaining about truck driver shortages , watch them cry but disrespect us Ownee driver and our investment in our trucks 😠 😡

Wow, good to see another video from you brother. Day shift traffic take my hat off to you bro, can see it's more of what fits your lifestyle an family as well as more work hours. I Finished up doing line haul B/doubles up the East Coast with DW, longer hours, old equipment and less pay than on the wharfs. Doors shut with the Tippers in WA so back with Qube on nightshift, taken 2 months just to get my access card processed through 1 stop, man they are terrible. Inducted to all the wharfs now, opportunities are coming up in Qube to drive their A Doubles and Supers on the wharfs. I know they don't have as much work as me driving singles during times like now but that's ok, have investments strategies in position to cover the missing hours. Where getting 8 to 10hrs a night of work during the quite period A & B doubles & Supers get less hours than us, always see most of them parked up on my second run back to the depo, see the same with ACFS. I have an idea for you brother for new content, ever thought of sharing your family life and interviewing other drivers to bring a perspective to different areas of the trucking industry or even other heavy machinery industries, Side-loading, Stackers, Taut-liners, Linehaul Drivers as examples. You would never run out of stories or content from other operators.

I've been thinking about going to live in the Pacific, in Australia, since last year (2023), but when I research the Australian work visa process, what I realize is that Australia doesn't want workers going to the country. I noticed that you said you most like driving around the city, on journeys of up to an hour. I am opposite. I like driving on long-distance roads. I think because I came from Brazil, which is very big and there is a lot of distance between cities. Until next year, I should study further how to move to Australia with a visa to work with trucks, which is what I like to do. Let's see if the State of Australia improves these processes and absorbs experience and considers professions as they should be.
