Following the journey of a student nurse, Content will include my life before being a student nurse, my time as a student nurse currently and hopefully from when i become a qualified professional. This channel is dedicated to inspiring individuals looking to embark on the nursing journey, currently on or just want information around working within healthcare. I aim to upload and share perspectives of myself, colleagues and friends to enable balance and different insight.
The Role of a Health care assistant
This videos talks about the role of the HCA (Health care assistant) in clinical settings and their contribution to healthcare. It’s important respect all of the MDT and their contributions to patient care and I felt like making this video because I feel I wanted to uplight and represent a role which isn’t represented that often. I started as a HCA and worked my way through many different job roles to get where I am today so let’s show some love.

Hello, thank you for this video. How would u apply for bank work? I'm in sixth form and when I go to uni I would like too but I'm not sure how or if u need some type of health degree?
Your welcome, you can apply for bank work at local care homes, Health settings or via any hospital trust. You will most likely apply to be a bank healthcare assistant or support worker (many students do) but these roles do not require a health degree as they are not graduate jobs. I wish you every success :)
