Could you give any tips to an aspiring morel cultivator on conditions or preparation? I've got some substrate I plan to use but I'm still in the grain spawn phases as of right now.

First time I've tried growing morels. But heck even if they don't grow to maturity, I still see little ones. That's good enough for me on my first try at morels😊. Oh and this is the 3rd day into fruiting today.

What did you use for substrate? I've tried a couple times with a few different substrates but I could never get it to pin.
Masters with a few tweaks.. But I believe the pining was do to the slow introduction of certain temperatures.

Where exactly do you have your traducer mounted? I have mine on the back right side but I don’t get that kind of sensitivity

What direction do you have the transducer facing? Down?
Facing basically completely down with a very very slight upwards towards the nose.
