Heres what i dont buy period, contour,bronzer, black eyeliner, black mascara, primers, lip oil,and after i finish my powder no more powder, no foundatin , very heavy i use a tinted sunscreen for base.... No big eyeshadow palettes... I wear browns and thats it... So.... Oh honey you seem so sad its a good thing oh yeah no higjlighter.... I look better with no makeup really.... But i like to dabble... I guess it would be easier to say what i would use...😂😂

Oh wow sorry you are having problems with Premier that is so weird. I use Final Cut Pro but not sure if they are still making it. Oh I love CT but the Chanel primer sounds excellent. Ugh I have a ton of clowlicks. Oh it must have been fun to be makeup artist. Yes it can be hard to keep up with the new new. Oh yeah so many people have been complaining about social media. Even really big TH-camrs have stepped away from TH-cam and IG. And ugh yes the same thing with IG everyone is doing the same thing. To me TT is even worse. The FYP is awful just shows me a bunch of crap I don't want to see or hear. Lots of taking heads. At least IG is more curated. When I am on TT I don't bother with the FYP and only look at who I am following. I am currently on a no clothes buy. Ooo your eye makeup is coming out so good. Every time I buy a lash curler it breaks. I will have to check out the one from KA. Wow that CT lip liner sounds quite impressive. Great GRWM and loved chatty discussion. Keep it up I think I need to stick around. 👍😍☺

No primers, no cream blushes, no waterproof mascara, no lipliners, no lip plumpers; hopefully no eyeshadow but we’ll see

I’m so happy to see you back! Whatever the content you create is, I watch it because of your personality and perspective. I totally get the frustration in not wanting to create the content that gets the most views, I’m always struggling with that too and it’s part of the reason I rarely post on IG, but I think with TH-cam it’s easier to put the blinders on and keep going ahead! The best thing to do is post what you want to post and even if the community you generate is smaller than large creators with the hottest new products, it’s authentic and will keep being fun to produce. You’ll still get the people who are here for YOU (like me) ❤️

To me makeup is a very personal thing, and just because someone else likes a product, doesn’t mean I’ll like it or that it’ll look good on me. I’m only buying things I need to restock in my collection i might buy a new foundation if it doesn’t contain coconut oil. I found one primer that I really like though it’s 100 percent pure luminous makeup primer only thing that sucks is it’s 40 bucks

Things I was never into: face palettes, highlighters, primers, setting sprays, and lip liners. Things now I will avoid for the future: any liquids or creams, colorful eyeliners, single eyeshadows, lip gloss/oils, and loose powders.

I hate being advertised!! That is why i stay away from larger creators. I subscribed to you because I align with your makeup preference! Looking forward to the shop my stashes.

For me it is liquid liner, multichrome single shadows i have 5 and that is more than enough to last a lifetime and backups I am only buying replacement products when something is close to empty.....I only need 1 powder bronzer, contour and highlight. I am also not buying blushes is shades i already own and honestly I have a small collection that civers all the shades and tones I would need or want.

I'm on a makeup no-buy this year but I didn't stipulate specifically in my rules that brushes weren't included ... I'm so tempted to buy and try the Sephora # 56 Pro foundation Brush and the IT cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush. I keep justifying it in my head that brushes don't have a expiration date therefore are exempt from my makeup no-buy ... but then again, brushes are makeup related so ... ... ....

For me it's bronzer/contour products my face shape has changed a lot in my mid 20s😭

The number 1 product I'm never purchasing is matte lipstick. I don't like the feeling of them and if I use the ones I have I always sheer them and use gloss anyway. Same with the foundation. They feel so heavy and uncomfortable on my face. In the past I tolerate the discomfort of foundation bc its look good but now I don't care about looking perfect and absolutely can't tolerate any medium coverage things on my face.

Also slowing down purchasing cream/liquid products bec I don’t use them enough before they expire on me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is this RMS highlighter dry down? I have a few powder highlighter but I realized don't like the look they give me. I want something glowy and luminizing but natural.

Great video! I also haven’t used black eyeliner in a long time. Sticking to browns which are softer and easier to smudge 😌

I'm new to editing videos and it has worked well so far for my humble needs lol.

Especially when the limited edition Nars face palettes go on sale, I think this will be my time! I'll get to experience that formula everyone races about! But I remind myself not to do it because I don't use them ever!

It's hard to grow when you don't buy the newest/hyped stuff and just use your stuff organically rather than joining project pans. My posts with the most reach/likes/comments tend to be brand mockups and project pans, but I don't want to do either all the time. I mostly want to share my custom palettes and looks.

What a fun video, Chloe! I can completely relate to a lot of what you discuss in this video. I also started to feel confined within a niche on YT. My beauty low buy in 2023 led me to discover that I love creating vlogs (something I never thought I would enjoy), so I am excited to watch yours on here! I haven’t purchased any makeup since July last year, and like you I don’t feel compelled by new releases anymore and am always drawn to the same colours of everything. And I agree that the beauty community has a way of justifying shopping addictions that can be quite unhealthy. Some of my favourite products of 2023 were Chanel’s Water Fresh Tint and Ultra le Teint, Byredo’s Remembrance palette, and Makeup by Mario’s cream blush in Earthy Pink. 💕 I also love Clarins’ lip oils! They’re the best. Looking forward to seeing what your channel brings this year, Chloe! Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts and feelings with us. 😘

I have the Saie brush and i use it for foundation. It works best with stick foundations. At least for me.

What was that expensive eyeliner you decluttered? I don’t think you ever mentioned the brand or the color. Your resolute attitude as you decluttered was inspiring. What about depotting the shades you like in the Pat palette into the Nars palette so you get the best of both worlds. I also recently repressed my Pat Divine Rose II into empty pans and then got rid of the bulky packaging.
