      Good question - because the twin Cessnas use a split flap, they generally are not used for takeoff.

    Dan, I just got done watching the video again, and it appears that you could use a pair of Flying Eyes sunglasses. It looks like you tilt your glasses so that the earpieces don't get pinched tight to your head by your headset. Flying Eyes claims to eliminate that uncomfortable pressure. I don't own them as I wear prescription progressive lenses, but you might check into them. The earpieces are also super flexible, so they shouldn't break under stress. Full disclosure - I am not a representative of Flying Eyes, and I have received no compensation from them. LMAO

    I have a 340A with RAM engines , I noticed that you were climbing at 35 inches of MP, and cruising with that boost setting. What engines does you aircraft have? I climb at 31 inches and cruise at 29 LOP which gets me great mileage .....and keeps the engines cool.... What setting s are you using in the 414????

    • @DanMalott1
      @DanMalott1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Byron! I have the RAM IV, with the TSIO 520NBs, rated to 41”. Climb (top of green arc) is 35” per RAM, and cruise is set also by RAMs chart, and ranges from 31-33.5” for 75% ROP ops. They publish lower settings and MPs, but are all ROP. But, I am def a believer in LOP if the engines are tuned well, and if they are, you’ll get better longevity and much better economy that’s for sure!
