Hi, great video! Thanks a lot. Can I ask what's the difference between this option LINKTOFILTEREDVIEW and a SLICE? Is one better than the other, or is the same. Wich one is faster to work with? Thanks in advance and regards from Chile in South America
Thanks, it depends on your needs, SLICER is more static, imagine if you have many items, it will be exhausted if you make them one by one for every items in Slicer, for me it more efficiently if using LINKTOFILTEREDVIEW

I was a bit skeptic, but it actually worked. In the pdf it shows all rows, even the empty ones. How can I amend the template so it shows only the rows with data?
for me action generate one row as one pdf same as second row as second pdf...what can change in work?

Hello, good morning. I don't understand how I can create a multiple submenù? I explain you. I have two voice in my menu. Voice 1 (image1) and Voice 2 (image 2). When I click on Image 1 I want to open the submenu 1. When I click on Image 2 I want to open the submenu 2. If I create a table excel with one sheet for menù and two sheets for submenù I'm not able to join them. I create two actions: one with LINKTOVIEW("Sottomenu1") and another with LINKTOVIEW("Sottomenu2") but in main manù ... I can join just one of this because in "behaviour" I can choose just one of them. Can you help me?
The link column is the name of UX View You have to match the view with link name, I can’t explain in detail with comment

Very good instruction ... but ... in real life ( in production ) you have a big problem. Normaly you use headers and footers for invoices ... headers for company logo etc. footer for more company information. the big problem is, that although you can declare header and footer, they do not work.
I'm developing app to my friend. I used database using his google sheet. But appsheet app account owned to my gmail. Can i use his google drive for pdf generation ? Because all appsheet data backup to my google drive.
I not sure you can do it because the storage was in GDrive account which used to make the Appsheet, but maybe you can use the shared folder from your friends GDrive but you have to find the directory folder/ path

Hello, I would like to ask a question. When generating a PDF and now we go back and edit the appsheet data and generate it again, it is still the old data. What should I do?
You can add 1 column as PDF Version and set the column type as “Change Counter”, set the column that trigger the counter and put the PDF Version column to your PDF name, basically its create a new pdf with new filename, appsheet cannot recognize the updated pdf files
How to make the service, name, and status above and act like a invoice title? I missed this step
Create a slicer based on status and create the view using the slicer, on view detail’s choose column header to show

You can find bunch of Images on freepic dot com, if you can use coreldraw you can modify the images like i did

How To Solve
Actually it’s okay because you not deploy the app, if you use the free version just let it be, but if you deploy the app, your user must be not more than 10 users otherwise your app will be stuck
I had an invoice template aa two columns and it completely ignored the tabs and ended up a mess. Tried it with a table but the minimum table height is too high, making formatting look rubbish. I'd love to hear any way around these issues, especially just using normal non-table formatting. I'm sticking with an Appscript-populated template, which works as one would expect, triggered through Appsheet.

Hai, mas Bayu Biru. Terima kasih atas tutorialnya. Saya susdah mencoba tutorial ini dan it works. Kendalanya adalah saat menambahkan submenu baru (misalkan sub menu C dan D). Tampilannya akan tetap mengarah pada submenu A, karena pada Behavior di <Menu>, row selected hanya diarahkan ke <sub menu A>. Pertanyaannya adalah, bagaimana cara agar ketika mengklik sub menu lainnya (seperti submenu C dan D), agar bisa langsung mengarah ke tampilan Submenu C dan D tsb? Terima kasih

Saya sudah lakukan itu, tapi hal itu bekerja jika kita menampilkan button action ya Mas? Sedangkan jika kita menyembunyikan button action gak bisa. Ada saran lain Mas?
Tinggal di hide di pengaturan button nya, nanti actionya di aktifkan di behavior pada view

can you do for HISTORY PART. here are the details, example when we do attendance. then user check in checkout so the history will show by Month and Year. so when user click month is january and click the year is 2023 so the history will only show on that month only.
