What's the ballpark labor cost for a 25x25? I have all the 2 7/8 tubing and perlin
Somebody got a deal on some drill pipe and couldn't resist.
Wouldn't it have been easier to just use squere tube
I got 2 7/8 pipe at $17 per 32' joint and square 2.5x2.5 by 24' cost over $100. I got 10 pipes today for a small roof.
This is repurposed oilfield pipe. A whole lot cheaper.

Seems like a shit load of work
Haven't timed the pipe end crushing process- then trimming to make mitered 'flat joint' but seems like a contour saddle would offer time savings- AND make the load distribution on the surface of the pipe/tube more likely to stand up? Don't think the building is too 'weak' but time in joints may not be a savings over plaz/contour and saddle?
