Went there in 2019 in Seirra Sq. One rough week but all the Senior Members had each others back. Came out as Honor Grad for Sierra Sq. Be prepared with good broke in boots and mole skin. A rain suit will come in handy to.

Hawk Mountain was an encampment on steroids X 10. You used to get a tab and a maroon beret when you graduated. The only two berets that were allowed to be worn, the blue beret for officers who had been to Oshkosh, and the maroon one for having completed Hawk Mountain ranger school. You also got your oval: the oval emergency services patch. The maroon beret was similar to the Air Forces PJ's And CAP Rangers were trained along similar lines. A ton of land navigation, ruck marches, and field medical/ first responder/ EMT classes. Also alot of rope work, rappelling and fitting out stretcher rigs to be hoisted. Tough damn training at 13 yrs old. But paid alot of dividends later when I joined the USMC.

Good cheap bags? There's so many options out there and it depends a lot of what configuration you want. I personally prefer a mountain frame pack, and you can find them on Amazon for less than $100, or used on Ebay for less still. Others prefer bags like Osprey, but they can be expensive. For web gear, I like the old army shoulder straps and butt packs, but others like a regular school style backpack. I suggest experimenting around with different configurations, but eventually you'll end up with something you like. Email me direct if you want and I'll send you additional links and gear lists and such that may help.

We were there! Shame the sound was really bad. The acoustics in that place are always bad. The mixing needed serious work. Unfortunately, distorted guitar really changes the dynamics of the band. I can hear the synths here but not so much during the show. However, they were all great! Lots of energy in that place that night. So appreciative they got together and came.

They were in NJ and I missed it! I heard another show on youtube and they were smoother, but I am impressed with Jon, he just turned and performs like this. The bassist and drummer are also impressive, never heard of either one of them.

t. rabin needs practice.....he will be the first to leave the tour, he not take it seriously....but j. anderson is amazing!
