This video is one of those things In life where I feel it was made especially for me. Thanks for posting this video it’s very special
DMI is life
I grew up watching the movie on VHS. Between my brothers and I we wore the tape out. I’m glad I can show this to my son. When he gets to pick what to watch it’s always this video!
My buddy Will Bier’s family sold the hell out of DMI tillage tools
I watch this at Grandma’s house.
I watch this at Grandma’s house.
I have this video
Love farm work wish that it would show more of soybean harvest them wheat and corn harvest
Love frame work grew up on a farm wish it would show more of soybeans harvest then corn and wheat harvest
Sweet this one is on TH-cam now. Now we just need the Cotton Picker one
Hi Chris, we chatted a little bit last spring. Are you still open to getting information on our AG products for consideration on your farm?
Just found your channel also, a great video. Hoping to see more.
Nice video guys!
Thanks!
A lot of these rotary hoes sit idle until times like these. They are worth sitting and not being used if they save you from a replant.
Please post a video of the field if it survives. I hope so. I am really curious. Good luck. I grew up on a farm in Panola county Mississippi. I have seen farmers use these before, but do no remember the results.
Will do! Thanks!
Hopefully all will come up for yall 👍👍
Thanks! After some more digging this afternoon things are looking a lot better. Now to get through this cold spell and get some heat and we should be good!
@@missourifarmer1375 👍👍😁
Yeah you guys are up there a little ways in Missouri I’m in southwest Missouri
How far are you from st Louis we live in west Tennessee Newbern Tennessee
We are about an hour and a half north of St Louis
Did you get any cold weather in February
Oh yeah. It got pretty cold here
Nice job! Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
And it's snowing here still.....I think the plow blade would bounce off the frozen fields here in western mass. Spring IS coming tho.
Good video 👍👍
Building that water run was interesting
We are a couple weeks away yet.
Just found your channel and subscribed. You make em and I'll watch them and like them
Thanks!
Do you do any tests plots for different products or not.
Yes we typically do. This year we will have several I’ll try and touch on all of them as we plant them.
@@missourifarmer1375 ok. That is cool. Hopefully next year, you can save some room for me.
I was fortunate enough a couple years ago to work on brand awareness program. The ag products have not been branded well in the past, so me a few others here in Wisconsin are rebranding with our knowledge of farming.
@@darrelpatzner9926 that’s really interesting!
@@darrelpatzner9926 haha sounds good!
Just a question, do you use micronutrients or adjuvant your farm
Yes we do. I may try and go over that a bit more in a future video
I kinda figured that with what you are putting on. Plants have to be able to uptake those nutrients. I heard you say ammonium sulfate. Can I ask what your results are from using that product
@@darrelpatzner9926 I’m using that for the sulfur. It’s a great product for that. We have also used ammonium thio sulfate which is a liquid fertilizer with nitrogen and sulfur. There is a huge response to putting sulfur down for every crop or at least we have found that to be the case here
Yah. I have hauled that to farmers and 28%. Some we put zinc in to keep the corn dark green as one farmer told me. I'm sure it does more than that but it made me chuckle. You have a great day. It will be raining up here almost all day
Just found your channel
Just found your channel. Enjoyed it so much we watched every video on your channel!! Thank you for taking us along!!
Thanks!
How about an equipment tour?
I may try and do that next since it rained us out here this week!
Awesome video love it im new to your channel keep up the good work
Thanks!
What do you think about air drills?
I think they are fine but I don’t have enough wheat every year to justify another piece of equipment
I'm new to your channel it's so cool to see 4 generations in one picture love the video
Thanks!
35 foot header?
40 foot
I am very curious about the 15" wheat. How does the yield compare?
We have done it this way for 2 years not including this year and have had great luck. I do have a trial this year with 15” and 7.5” wheat so it will be interesting to see exactly how it compares. I’ll keep you guys updated with that. We haven’t had much issue with weed control either. We’ve split up our application of herbicides and put some Harmony down in the fall and then again in spring
@@missourifarmer1375 Very interesting to read. I look forward to seeing the trial and learning more about how it works.
Nice! My family has an operation in northwest Missouri by Maryville! We’re finishing up harvest on soybeans and corn right now. Got around 200 bushels on one of our farms but 2/3 of it is in CRP at the moment 😭
🇺🇸👍👍
Nice pant leg 😂
Can’t believe how dusty those beans are! What’s up with that? Is that all dirt?
the leaves and stems are just grinding up. normally you don’t notice it because the slightest breeze will carry it away but it just hung in that valley those nights
Now will this wheat grow before the deep freeze? Or spring only? Not a farmer so not sure why it’s called winter wheat
It will grow a little before winter And get a couple inches tall then go into a dormant state over winter then start to green back up in early March. Then we will combine it in late June or the first week of July
My corn across the road from your wheat looks pretty good. You all have a lot of wheat acres. It’s been a lot time since we have grown a considerable amount of wheat
Your corn does look good over there! Yeah we are putting in a decent amount this year
Those beans have the hundred bushel lean
Haha not quite but they have been pretty good so far!
Nice video deserves more views
Wow you look like a guy that farms in my area. They plant 15 inch wheat too.
I think he runs the same exact setup! Haha
You're doing a good job with the camera, easy to watch.
Great video keep them coming.
Great video, what do y'all farm other than corn.
We grow Corn, Soybeans and Wheat. We typically follow the wheat with double crop soybeans
Where at in Missouri are you located? We are in the NE part of Missouri
We are near Palmyra MO near the Mississippi River
