Michel, i am a big fan and have seen a lot of your videos through youtube and other people like leerburg etc and I think you should definitely send out more videos (paid or free). I say this because not a lot of people have the gift of explaining and TEACHING like you do. Cheers and God bless. 😊
Regardless of whether my dog was a service dog or acting as a pet dog, I valued play with my dogs, I could never understand why people would get a dog and not play with it, then they complain when the dog becomes destructive due to boredom. The 'off switch' is important for all dogs to learn, working dog or not. Now that I'm finally starting to get into French Ring with my Malinois play has taken on whole new meaning. I've always had high drive working or sporting dogs and listening to you and Ivan has validated what I have always known.
Thank you for this. This reinforces the way I got my Malinois past her reactivity from fear, she had never been desensitized to environmental stimuli or objects. It also explains how she got the way she was before I got her, she was like the dogs Agusto Deoliveira handles, highly reactive to everything and everyone. I use both a 2.5 HS prong and a flat collar with a safety between the two.
If you know what's this is all about, you can learn more from this four minute clip than from a four hour video of another trainer, Michael is simply the best....
I’m 58 years old with a 4 month old GSD. I’ve recently given away my treadmill thanks to your videos. I love working out with Cleo now. 👍🏻
I'm loving my first online course and already correcting the many things I did wrong with my Gator. I'm looking at building a training room and wondering what size this room is?
I want to come back as his dog and play with him!
Looks smooth, elegant and all.....but I'm sure that this is the product of fine aspects of a lot of things strung together....derived from years of experience...Thanks Michael, I have learned a lot from you...
Who needs to go to a gym? Just play with the dog
fantastic work great drive and great handler interaction
Why so few subscribers??.. u deserve so much more.. guess they see all ur work under leerburg ??I know I watch a lot there..(especially Michael and Forrest)..brilliant trainers..
I think the rest command was for ME..lol.. Tugging is tiring work..
Awesome.. what great engagement.. I need to focus on this.. try energise my 11 month old puppy.. definetely don't have these high energy levels..
incredible engagement! is that a Leerburg firehose perhaps? ;D
hi i have been training my saint bernard using yes as the marker and reward but not for the release word combined ... i have been using " break " as the release word which stops some of the quicker behaviours like you do here ...could i change this or would it crate confusion ? thank you hard to attend your school iam in south australia
Use "good" to keep the behavior in place and mark the reward, yes for a reward marker and also to break the command.
Superb! Micheal ellis is the best dog trainer I've ever come across. If your into operant conditioning, food and toy reward marker training, then this man can teach you to take your skills to the next level. And if your into competition dog sports, then look no further than this guy and his videos.
I agree
Great work,thank you .
smooth! well done ;)
LOVE LOVE LOVE thank you Michael Ellis!
