I work on old wooden tallships (the ones that really do look like "pirate ships") and have a fair amount of time cruising around the world on them. When I'm at home I sometimes really miss the feeling of being on board. This soundtrack is one of the best ways to bring that feeling back until I'm going back out. Thank you!

Crazy.. im laying in bed.. and I almost feel overboard from swaying side to side.

Captains log; date unknown. We've been adrift in a storm for what seems like weeks now. The wind is blowing out of the east, and we should have seen some signs of land by now, but we keep drifting. The clouds and fog are relentless. Occasionally we catch sight of a star or two at night, but not enough to fix our position. Spirits are as low as the stores. Drifting, endlessly drifting. Ive reduced the waych to just two men, and have the rest of the crew sleep as much as possible to conserve food and keep interations to a minimum. I cant have the crew getting restless. We catch rain in barrels, there's enough water to last us a lifetime. The ship is weathering nicely, the seas are not particularly rough, and the storm is mild in comparison to most squalls. I shall retire for the night.

i like that the wind wipping is left in, it makes it feel like youre really standing there. some channels who make fake ambience instead of real locations like this vid make it sound more like a video game location and forget the little "annoying" sounds that make it feel like its actually happening live.

Ahhhhh... It takes me right back to those peaceful relaxing times at sea. On a creaky pirate ship...
