Nice! Did you use any specific kinds of trees as a model?
Kind of. I initially set out to do a more somber scene with more earthy tones but then I started playing with the colors and shapes and totally lost the plot. But I love it. I dont know the names of the types of trees but there are trees at a park I hang out at that I was thinking of while I was painting. That and there is a bridge we drove over one fall that looked out over a shallow forested valley and all you could see was this vibrant lumpy carpet of trees in every shade of yellow orange and red and it was beautiful.
@@JustDoodles Sometimes getting lost in what you're doing is the best part. The trees came from inside your mind all along!

Thank you! For this one I painted on watercolor paper.
The vein of magenta in the middle-left is a nice touch! It's got some nice contrast with the surrounding colors without overpowering anything or drawing attention away from the light-colored flowers on the right. It's a nice counterweight.

Hi, Very lovely composition and colours, ❤ especially the flowers at the front looking great. In my opinion the darker green background enhanced the whole composition and adding yellow to it washed away the vibrancy.

I love these creations . You are so brilliant. What type of markers do you use?
Thanks so much 😊. I use a combination of Master's Touch water based brush markers from Hobby Lobby and a set of alcohol markers I got from Ross. The brand is avenueart for the alcohol markers. Both sets are duel tip too so you get some variation.

Nice work, love the newer flower style. I am compering your older paintings to this one and definitely see the positive changes. Except at the end of recording you over done the foliage by changing the greens. Anyway it is still pretty good 👍
