From everything I've heard & read about him, Skip was sunshine in human form. Never had a bad word to say about anybody & had the biggest heart for others. All of the guys played their characters with such respect & care but I'm so grateful for the way that RSJ in particular continues to keep Skip's memory alive. Don Malarkey himself was deeply touched by the way that RSJ portrayed his best friend & the two of them truly developed a lasting bond. Brings tears to my eyes tbh. 🥺💖
Skip Muck too and that's was awesome portrait I the series. Greetings from Bulgaria. Rip Skip. And more making of that kind of films. Heroes must be remembered. I admire all allied soldiers Easter front and Western front.
"I'm not a relative, my grandfather didn't serve with him, my grandmother wasn't his childhood sweetheart." So no, no connection. He's just explaining that he's no one special, but that he still admires and feels a connection to this man.
I was blessed enough to visit Skip grave in Luxembourg October last year. It was a sobering and emotional moment to be in that cemetery and be able to pay my respects. I placed a 101st challenge coin on both his and Penkala's grave. I hope that I can be half a man that both these and the thousands of their brothers in arms were throughout my long and free life. Thank you Sergeant Warren 'Skip' Muck.
I know a lot of people are probably watching this because of Skip Muck, but he also mentions the Niland Brothers who were from Tonawanda as well and who were the brothers that inspired the story of 'Saving Private Ryan'...
I can't imagine a better actor to cast glory on Skip's memory than Richard Speight, jr. This just proves it. Skip was a hero. If I ever go to Luxembourg am I gonna find his grave and pay my respect, for he was a hero. They all were.
I know that several of the actors from Band of Brothers took a great interest in the men they portrayed, but I don't think any did so more than Richard Speight, Jr. did. It's very inspiring and pays a great homage to not just Skip Muck, but all those who have given their lives in the service of our country.
Great Tribute! RIP.
beautiful speach!
Proud to be so closely related to him
Truly moving and heartfelt. Beautifully spoken, Richard. ❤️ Skip would be so proud of you for how you honor his legacy. ❤️❤️

Richard Speit is full of artistism.
It had to be so weird to play one of the guys who died in combat when so many of the other actors could actually go meet the real guys.
These are the hero’s that we all should emulate. Never forget what Skip and others sacrificed so we can live the lives we have today.
Wow. Just woe
Beautifully said.
Son, that was so well spoken...I have tears in my eyes. Thank You, Richard
It touches me that he treats this man and his memory with such care. He never forgets this was a real man , with his own life and hopes.
Very well said
A great speech well said!
so sad how he and Penkala got hit.
Does he say at the start that his grandmother was skips childhood sweetheart. Hell of a connection if so.

Just been there 10 min. ago, visited him, Penkala and Christensen. Took pics that i shared on facebook...
Skip Muck and the Niland brothers are true war heroes. Their families and the town of Tonawanda, NY should be proud of them.
