Grateful to have come across this podcast. I sobbed all the way through it. I grieved the loss through your description of the loss and the absolute fear of this happening to me and my children. The fear is crippling at times and I have no strong belief system around a god because I constantly look for evidence and when I don’t find it or the meaning/purpose of my existence I then fail to follow through with any belief. I feel so sad for your experience and I felt deeply what that could feel like. Thank you for sharing.

I remember hearing Outrageous Grace in my Anglican church in early 2000s and everything changed for me. I asked my vicar who had written the song and he said some bloke up in Lincoln so I did some searching and bought my first Godfrey Birtill CD and God would show up in my lounge when I played it. It was fantastic start to my Christian life. I loved singing scripture. Gill & Godfrey are very precious to me

Fantastic to see you guys on the show. What is killing the Church the body of Christ is the lack of Bible study, we are told to study to be approved and not ashamed. Churches either do not have a Bible study program or have a pick and mix study, a cocktail of every wind of doctrine. Things needed for sound doctrine and joy in the word - 1) an Old King James Bible, pure and perfect as God's word is. Just as Hebrew and Greek were chosen for those times, God has chosen English an International language for today. Like it or not it sits high above any modern copyrighted version that has been cut and pasted for filthy lucre. 2) We must rightly divide the word of God, we can not put the church the body of Christ into the Earth;y ministry of Christ that was for Israel, His purpose was to give them an Earthly Kingdom with a kingdom gospel to believe under the Law (works). 3) We must acknowledge therefore the remnant of Israel, the Little Flock - the church in Jerusalem , as being separate from the body of Christ or we deny them their promises. They are those of the Earthly ministry of Christ, now on hold, we are not the "early church" whose final destination is the New Earth. 4) We must acknowledge our apostle Paul and the pattern he set given to him by the risen Christ for the church the body of Christ -Jew and Gentile alike. Romans to Philemon is where our doctrine is found and 1 Cor 15:1-4 is our gospel of grace for salvation today without the Law (works). That all being done then we have the unity of faith as mature believers, in agreement. And we must understand that today God is working with Christ's Heavenly ministry, the Mystery program - not the Prophecy program - through our apostle Paul, our final destination is the New Heaven not this Earth as many wrongly teach.
