I can remember that around 2018 there was supposed to be a new reboot series of Astro Boy. It's the pilot video of Astro Boy wearing black jeans and a green coaller shirt. I don't know if it was real or just fan made, but is it even worth having a shared cinamtic universe or a Hollywood film franchise of all these obscure manga characters coming together or do a tokusatsu cinamtic universe in general? I used to think that but since we have the Monsterverse, anime and binging older anime is a mainstream of it's own, I think now we're probably already good. I heard from somewhere long ago that Tim Burton in the early 2010s was going to a film adaptation on some old manga or have a movie that's tokusatsu inspired but never came to fruition. At least we still have that Astroboy movie from 2009 that people don't know what to make out of.
