I had a hard time deciding between the Cuisinart th-cam.com/users/postUgkxbHS6iDzgurU5HDfOQwM9gHX0K703-UyJ (rated # 1 by America's Test Kitchen) and this KitchenAid hand mixer. After receiving the KA, I inserted the beaters and turned the KA unit on in the air. The beaters seemed "wobbly" and I was worried that I may have made a mistake. Then I actually beat egg whites into a meringue (a good test) and found that they whipped up much quicker than usual. Now I think the "wobbly" beaters are built to orbit that way to improve the mixing. The "slow" start is a nice feature, too, and it keeps a thin batter from splashing out when the beaters are first inserted. Because there is little splashing, I find that it's also easier to clean this mixer. About two weeks after purchasing the KA mixer, I was delighted when I read that this year the KitchenAid is rated #1 by America's Test Kitchen! Official validation for my own good taste/instincts.

This is just blatantly misleading. Firstly it's a cheap and cheerful plastic (crap) blender with a tiny little blade on the end. Secondly the ingredients aren't diced up, and thirdly, you've got to use a liquid of some kind to get the party started. Don't let this put you off buying a stick blender. Get the best and get a bamix, and you will have beautiful vege smoothies for years to come.

That happened to me as well, usually my immersion blender is good for a bunch of other recepies, but it never succeed with smoothies with green leaves - even if it blends, the small pieces of leaves stay separate from water, it never blends well like bananas or making smoothies with the normal type of blender that stands on the table

Ur jar was too narrow for blender to get to the bottom... I HV one and it blends everything... Worst test I've seen..

This is a very misleading video and even after 5 years it’s still on the internet. 🙄. I watched it before buying my handblender and till this day I’m glad I paid no attention to whatever is happening here. My handblender was/is a big blessing

Don't you need liquid to blend?

What is this dense human trying to prove? Nothing makes sense here. It's like you're trying to discredit the product. You cannot compare this completely to a blender jug. The blades are too small and they operate much differently. We all know liquids first. We all know cut foods to appropriate sizes. And for those who don't know, this is one of the worst videos they can come across. It will discourage them or further make them confused. Please don't do silly things like this, educate people correctly or just stay in your lane.

I guess that with a cheap immersion blender like the one used for this video, there is no surpise of the result... I use a bamix immersion blender for 20 years now...it still work like new and.. in a few moment all is blend.... Have a good day!

First of all you got a cheap ass blender with a little small blade, not only connect immersion blender blend but the way you decided to blend it of course not much was going to happen. You're basically full of s*** in this video was worthless and a waste of my damn time.

Yes it will blend ! Those blenders will blend anything you just have to be a bit tougher with them, once you get it going its as good as any blender you buy at big bucks.
