The Kaiju light is an extra way to warn people not paying attention to phones about a attack and to gtfo if the area. The artillery is about influencing the Kaiju to move to desired location tk minimize damages when the JSDF moves in. God Mina is absolutely gold. That railcannon is love. Cant wait for you to see how the tiger augments her use kf tne railcannon when she needs to stay mobile 😂 The auther has said in interviews that Kafka's Kaiju tries to prevent him from using the kaiju armor, so he is absolutely overpowering it with his willpower. Ot covered in the anime: The ammo is kaiju biological remains harvested since the 70s, their suits activate the organs, but cant make them regenerate, thus why they run out of ammo over time. The cougar platoon leader is one of my two favorite minor characters who desperately need more screne time. That and the blue haired titan. God i cant wait for you to get to the end of the seaskn XD

I'm still torn between Mina trying to ask the staff to find an excuse to let Kafka in and rejecting him to keeel him safe before the vice captain cut her off. I absolutely love her subtle tiny little smile. Plus the tiger giving him shit during the montage until the other new recruits flood it with attention. They did such a great job building the comradery of the unit, its such great vibes!

I actually really like how it shows the 3 major star candidates besides Kikoru working together to get the rest of the new applicants out alive before cutting back to Kafka and Kikoru before Reno joins them and helps carry Kikoru to the shelter. Glad your still vibing with this series! Cant wait until you see what comes next. Question: how long does it take you to get attached to minor characters in most anime? In this show as an example, not Reno, Kafka or Kikoru, but say one of the three minor characters from the test? Do you think two episodes can be enough?
