Episode 212: Interoception 101 While I Paint My Nails!!!
Want to learn about interoception in 20 minutes or less? I’m breaking it down for you in this episode - literally faster than it takes me to paint my nails! 💅 Interoception is the ability to sense what's going on inside our bodies - think hunger, thirst, or even when we need to use the bathroom. It’s a critical skill, especially for kids with sensory processing challenges, and understanding it can make a huge difference when advocating for supports at the IEP table. This episode packs a lot of info into a short amount of time, just like our IEP Guru Academy videos. In these videos, we dive into these topics in even more detail, offering quick, actionable lessons to help you navigate IEP meetings with confidence!

Your videos are very good and your editing skills are excellent, but your videos are not reaching many people. The main reason for this is that your videos are not SEO optimized. I am a TH-cam video SEO expert and would like to optimize your videos. Are you interested in this?

People could be a little more empathetic and gentle with parents at IEP meetings. The word LAZY is offensive and off putting.

My child has ASD 3, and she is 3 years old. What age is it recommended to start potty training for children with severe autism? I definitely can start taking her to the bathroom with me when I go to “potty”, as well as, start changing her in the bathroom. How will I know that she is ready to start sitting on a potty? Note: She also has Cerebral Palsy level 3.
