my heart dropped thinkin someone uploaded the song
Honestly I wish they would get back to the style that made them famous, pre-Conqueror style. The trick is to throw in one or two experimental tracks per album, not every track. When Smashing Pumpkins strayed from hard rock to soft electronica, fans lapsed. Why do half the songs use a high pitched, screechy distortion? It hurts my ears.
You really work hard to get some subscribers, but I think you will not succeed. Why? First of all: Sound is very poor on all videos. Please get yourself a good microphone. Second: Just talking about Music and/or bands is a bit boring on the long run. I bet you would have much more success (and subscribers) if you would at least show the videos you ae talking about.
Yes, 'The Bell In The Jail' is my favorite too. Again Mao is an incredible composer, nothing to say....and finally, as a bass player.....FAMI fucking rules on this song, and also in the others.
Technically, they have also released a third item (as bonus to a special version of "LOVEBITES EP II"): "RE-LOVEBITES EP" or better re-recording of "LOVEBITES EP" (2017) with new bassist Fami ("Bravehearted" not in Japanese, but in English). As "LOVEBITES EP II" is a revisit of their debut EP "The LOVEBITES EP", this is a nice gift for fans...
The EP is a no skip EP ALBUM...
The Bell in the Jail is my favorite as well.
Yeah, it's a great EP. Someone's Dream might be my favourite track on it, but they are all great.
LOVEBITES couldn't write a bad song if their lives depended on it.
yeah killer ep - killer blue ray - it´s lovebites so no surprise!!!
Kicks major ass pretty much says it all! I almost broke my neck headbanging to it, and I had a smile on my face I couldn't stop. Love these new songs. Where's Identity is my favorite but that could change after more listens, all five tracks are 🔥🔥 🤘🐺🤘
🤘 th-cam.com/video/OjP7DJIbK_E/w-d-xo.html
LOVEBITES EP II 1. Unchained - 4/10 2. Soul Defender - 8/10 3. Where,s Identity - 9,5/10 4. The Bell in the Jail - 9/10 5. Someone,s Dream - 8/10
Unchained is much better than that.
Unchained is more commercial than the others, but not 4....
In terms of my current fav track, you and I are aligned - "The Bell in the Jail". Like you, that might change after a few more listens.
Maravilloso EP, grandioso metal‼️ LOVEBITES MI BANDA FAVORITA 🤟🏻🔥🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🔥🤘🏻 Gracias👍🏻
My favorite song from this new album is "Someone's Dream"🤘🐺
Mine is "Where's Identity", but the whole EP is freaking brilliant.
There's a few others in English but you might not be able to tell due to Saiki's accent. I think the vocals being more forward was on purpose. This just seemed appropriate for the song.
Several reactors have commented on how low the guitars are in the mix compared to the vocals. I agree.
I was able to hear them a bit more clearly with headphones I found
Other Band-Maid songs totally in English are: "Don't Let Me Down", The Dragon Cries" and "Bestie".
Somehow I managed to completely forget about those !
Agreed 👍🏻
I've been on hyper japan in 2015 back when it was hosted on O2 arena (old times when "ai my maid" hosted maid cafe, still got polaroid picture with the maid and my current fiance) and this year (specially flought to London this time with my SO to see how things look like / relive memories). After almost a decade, I can totally say it felt like a total mess. Back then the event was much bigger (it was on o2 arena), and there were many more things to do/view. Shame it went downhill SO BAD considering japanese culture's popularity has been on the rise for the last decade...
@@aurustius I remember Ai My Maid, I last saw them at Hyper Japan in either 2018 or 2019, haven’t heard about them since then so I don’t think they are still active, unless you happen to know otherwise?
Having experienced many of the Hyper Japans from many years ago this Hyper Japan has not felt worth the ticket price of £38 (inc tax) on a saturday. There was way less 'japanese' cultural events, performers and what not. There has been to my knowledge always an event where people could have won a trip to Japan, this was in 2018 and they had a Karaoke contest between competitors in the audience. Back when it was in tobacco dock you felt like the event was pretty big, there was an outside area with a stage and outdoor stands, which also allowed people who wanted to hangout, where photoshoots happen. We had upcoming artists like WORLD ORDER and REONA who just started out and came to Hyper Japan for exposure and look how big they managed to get. This year the only one I could say I was interested was Akase Akari but unfortunately she was relegated to a Sunday Performance only. In the end we left 2 hours earlier in the event having seen everything 3-4 times over, not to mention people who had tables there are not finding it that worth it and some that were going to have tables have moved on to bigger conventions in like Paris or Sydney. It probably doesn't help that Hyper Japan happens right after Japan Expo so it just feels like a lacklustre event when you could have just travelled a few hours on the train to Paris to experience a way bigger and better event which has even attracted many famous cosplayers from Asia and Japan. As for the merchandise side, there has been a lot less variety, mostly prints, keychains and some mini collectibles which are way overpriced. There's hardly any freebees being given around apart from like the sake tasters or fans.
@@JSenhChu Good to get a perspective from someone who attended this year, I didn’t go in the end, and it’s interesting to see that I’m not the only one who has this opinion about the event. I first went in 2017, when it was at Tobacco Dock and can agree it was way better then than it is now

I’ll be honest and say the science fiction era has been a bit lack luster as an english speaking fan. Seems like its really difficult to find and have translated the appearances she made to promote the album. Unlike Bad Mode where there seemed to be more of an effort to translate interviews and what not. Anyway, I am super excited to hear live tour vocals from Hikaru with some of the newer songs. Let’s hope some of the Japanese fans break the rules and record the entire concert!
100% with you! I hope there will be more Science Fiction tour that's easier for us fans to purchase the ticket. Fingers-crossed
Really interesting and agree. I have followed the event for a long time but only been a couple of times. I did go in 2022 (Sat AM) and enjoyed it and forgave the good but not great line up as being due to covid, but PM tickets were a shamble from what i heard. But this year... It feels they have no headliners or big names to shout about, its all just filler which alongside headliners would be great, but as the main draw? Looking at the Paris Japan Expo makes it even harder, this event could be as good as that & being a week later they could even work together to bring some of that here.
@@chrisjmuk it may be because of TIF ( although that wouldn’t make sense because I believe TIF isn’t until August ?), or because higher profile acts were already booked for festivals in Japan, or Japan Expo for example
Well the Musicvideo helped ( A lot of us ). To be precise Koba claimed that Eskimo Callboy was his inspiration for Lline. According to Tank (Tourmanager of Electric Callboy they are about 50/50 the problem is they are extremly good intermixed and you can't sometimes hearvthat it is Momo that growls their. The interaction between them is sometimes to perfect. But with the Music Video You see a very onesided Cat and Mouse game. Mouse comes through wall one. Mouses want to start play, Cat leaves through Wall two. Mouses investigate where the Cats left "Found you!"
From what I heard someone mention online (I've not checked this) ratatata is the name of the techno/whatever beat.
Yes it is q bit overweight towards Electronic Callboys. It works but not really exceptionally well.
I'd say three or four years
Good you said it is EC feat. BM. I got the impression too and a little bit angry with the boys. Wanted it to be more 50:50. Anyway it is a super catchy song. Now still 3hours to wait for the MV.
Yea, they marketed it as “BABYMETAL & Electric Callboy”, but it definitely feels more like an Electric Callboy song.
@@alljapanshow True, the video was made by EC, the band in the video is EC the song sounds more EC than BM but I think this is also a bit the modern German thing of being very nice and grant someone else a place in the spotlight. And I guess it's also because Babymetal is the bigger band. Video premier on the BM channel, live premier on Foxfest.. For EC it's actually a bit of a serious song, the humor being a bit subdued, but for BM it's way out of their comfort zone. Some hardcore BM fan reactors see this as a new direction. BM becoming adults, little bit more loose and less rigid. More acting in video's or maybe more of their personalities shown.
It's amazing...but I didn' t expect anything less of EC...a wunderful summer dance song...waiting for the MV 😊❤💃
👍Can't wait for the MV. It's going to be 🔥🔥. 🖖❤
Same here, if it's anything like the song itself, it's going to be great !
👍👍Subscribed. Awesome collaboration with awesome artists with awesome message = awesome MV. 🦊 🖖❤
We have another big announcement on October 10... so I think that's the real deal this year.😁
We’re getting a new song called Naked Princess, tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree that the Lil Uzi Vert collab was kinda strange and fell a bit short whereas this collab gave all three artists time to shine. I really like the harmonies with the Bodyslam vocalist and Su, they fit super well together. Also, why is Su so super kawaii in this video?!? ❤ The little bit where Moa and Momo sing without Su is also super cool and hopefully we will see more of that in the future! F. Hero went really hard in the song adding some nice harsh vocals and flavour to the mix. I like it! 🤘🔥🦊
Well it was totally understandable what he as a Rapper would do. I was only wondering what Babymetal quite hopped for. I think they wanted additional ideas how to harmonize Moa and Momo.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.🦊👍
Thanks for watching!
I just binged the 3 available episodes yesterday, and i agree thats really good. I *have* read the book, 2 or 3 times, but not since the 90s. So I can't really remember what's going to happen ahead of time, but watching the show is continuously reminding me. I remember just about every key scene happened in the book. It's a great adaptation. I did see parts of the 80s adaptation as a child, but i really have no clear memories of it.
An other band-organized festival Babymetal performed at in Japan was: Ozzfest in 2015.
7:28 I assume this is because of the hassle having to deal with language barrier and international documents the staff might not know how to read.
🤘🦊🤘
FYI: It’s not a sub unit. It’s a little sister unit. I feel that this project is still in the nascent stages right now. I don’t think Koba’s ready to release anything just yet. What we’re seeing, so far, are just glimpses of Metalverse.
Thank you so so much!!! I truly appreciate it 💖
You’re welcome, loving your work !
It's gonna be fun live, now find a fancam from yesterday and discuss if it's Momometal doing harsh vocals. 🙂
