Boatcontroller is a wireless system that makes it possible to control the boat regardless of where you are on the boat, even if you are standing on the dock you can control it out in the water, we recommend that you stay on the boat and control from there. Range is normally up to 70 m (however, depending on various conditions, etc.), you can move around the boat and help with harbor maneuvers.
The system is a dual band system where there are not 2 Boatcontrollers running on the same frequency, so you can be sure that the neighbor cannot take control of your boat from his Boatcontroller.
Boatcontroller can control 1 or 2 engines.
The remote control does not have loose batteries but is charged in a docking station so there are no problems with corrosion or IR, etc., the Boatcontroller remote control is 100% sealed. If the remote control loses the signal to the boat, the gear automatically goes into neutral.
When you have turned on your Boatcontroller remote control, the system is active.

Easy installation
The system is also easy to remove if you change boats and want to take it with you to the next boat, and can be easily installed in another boat with electric throttles, however, some extra parts may be needed.
Boatcontroller can remotely control starboard and port engines as well as bow and stern thrusters, as well as proportional bow thrusters and anchor windlass.
The remote control
The Boatcontroller remote control is waterproof and has a battery monitor that tells you when it needs charging. It will light up red when there is about 25% power left in the battery so that you can put it in the docking station to charge in good time.

Even on a new boat with a Volvo Penta engine, Boatcontroller can be installed, warranty from Volvo Penta does not expire if the RMC Boatcontroller is installed according to Volvo Penta regulations.
