I agree the market district is long overdue for an upliftment giving the vendors and store owners a sense of pride and incorporating the market district with the business district, one big beautiful/clean downtown Kingston.

Good a shelter is in place to accommodate the less fortunate. Blessings to all the volunteers, managers, donators, all those helping the homeless.

Maybe what the government need to do is set up parking lots for cars to park and block off those streets to pedestrians only and delivery and restrict delivery to early mornings only and clear the streets after dropoffs, that's what they do in Barbados.

Jamaicans need to have civic pride, the government need to step up in educating the citizens about cleanliness and civic pride because in this day and age 21st Century we should not be living like hogs in a pig pen. Jamaica is such a pretty island but many parts of it is filthy sorry to say.
