What do you get for a cord of greenwood up that way?
I'm committed to watching the whole video, then I have to split.
@@floatpool8307 thanks for your support
That is an awesome setup! #goals haha, take care!
@@OhioHillTopsHobbyFarm hey thank you! Been a five year goal started with a wood splitter in 2019 did 75 cords my first year and have grown into what I have today. Started out as a side job Iv invested just about everything Iv made back into equipment and wood.
Nice set up.
@@VicsYard thank you it sure didn’t happen over night. Thanks for watching and the comment have a great weekend
I love to have some dents in my new firewood trailer, if I had one😅. I remember our old 624 would break the front side window if I cut it to hard and to fast. The new wood box is looking great.
@@OpenAirAdventure thanks Kenny it’s a working progress have a great weekend!
Thanks Russ I appreciate your support! Enjoy your weekend
I like breakfast and Santa! Sounds like fun. Body is going to be a monster when it's done!
I would finish this one deal and tell him to call someone else next time he needs wood...and then you end it..
Good eye on that hose Kenny!
I agree! Raise prices in the winter 😂. You first.
@@WilleysFirewood I did I went up $25 a cord on my one cord delivery’s
@ ok I'm in too then 💪🏻😜
@ I still need to do my video on my thoughts about that subject. I bet you can guess how I feel about it!😊
Amen fella the price is the price take it or leave it.
@@rodneydufrain3623 definitely! Thanks for the support
Evening Brandon. Thanks for the shout-out. Im glad that hose didn't become a problem for ya. A fella doesn't need any more down time.
You are welcome! Take care.
👍👍👍👍
@@donmcgimpsey1706 thanks for the support!!!
Great video. Impressive operation.
@@BW35bucket thank you I appreciate your comment and taking the time to watch.
Seems like it makes garbage out of most of the small wood.
Thanks for watching!
Just like I expect to deal with an honorable business, I expect of myself to be an honorable person. Trying to negotiate a lower price because you already had the truck loaded was a scuzzy move on his part. Cash is king, but someone like that is likely to not pay you at all in the future.
Sitting in front of the woodstove enjoying the wood we bought from you this summer!
@@teresacanty-u9d awesome thank you very much for your business and for taking the time to watch and comment much appreciated ❤️
I like how ya lined up that troublesome log using the live deck and the other logs. Bit of strain on that hydraulic hose at the start of 13:05. Maybe just a camera angle making it look tight. Nice work Brandon.
I just went back and looked to see what you are talking about there definitely looks tight! Nice catch I’ll look at it on the morning to see what’s going on with it thanks again Kenny.
Having the divider to do multiple deliveries is a big help. I think being able to work with family is one of my favorite parts about working in the woodyard. The weather is not going to help much for us that's for sure.
@@WilleysFirewood the divider helps on the bottom line for sure and saves a bunch of time. Thanks for watching!
Brandon, great video. It’s harder when working alone. I enjoyed watching the crane & unloading the truck. I worked for International Paper Co back in late 70s early 80s in New Sweden out of the Ashland district running the crane in the yard. We handled about 250,000 cord of tree length spruce & fir a year for the Jay Mill. We had 2 big Tanquay slashers in the yard. What I wanted to say is if you grabbed your wood closer to the butt of the tree & let the heal do the work it might be easier for you putting it on the ground & better control of the wood. Don’t mean to be critical just an observation. I found myself sitting in my chair & running your crane. Again loved your video. I used to live on Lincoln St. by Welding Supply in Presque Isle. Moved to southern Me in 1988. I found your channel from Willy’s Firewoods channel. As Joe @ Ohio Wood Burners would say, Have a great day. 👍Dave from Auburn Maine.
@@DaveDunehew-e1f thanks for sharing about your past experiences in the logging industry i found it very interesting. Don’t worry about being critical with me on the crane all feed back is welcome thank you I appreciate the comment and you taking the time to watch. Take care Dave!
Don't deal with him anymore....
We had a sprinkle of snow yesterday and gone today. Staying warm along the coast. Truck bed is coming along.
Kenny we will be in the 50’s the next few days and rain! I am sure the snow will be gone.
Nice hat I have one just like it 😜
I just subscribed. Cool video. I noticed we have about the same amount of videos up and about the same amount of subscribers. Peace
@@williamkleinsLost40Lodge thanks for the sub! I’ll be over to return the favor and check out your channel!
He sounds like a nut.
@@OpenAirAdventure that’s being nice Kenny! Thanks for watching
That was the way my whole weeks deliveries have gone. I don't negotiate on my price either. I don't blame you for being wise with the customer. That wood would go to another customer. Cash or not. Good for sticking to your guns!
@@WilleysFirewood thanks buddy!
I got myself a couple plastic concrete mixing tubs from Tractor Supply. Tied rope to each and slid them under the processor where most of the chaff falls. Just pull them out, dump and slide them back under. Helps with less shoveling/raking
@@gimpy8349 thanks for the tip I really appreciate it! Also thanks for taking the time to watch.
No matter which way you do that it's still no fun. If you don't clean it though things will break! Look at all that kindling 😂
It would be a lot better if I did it every day. A little bit goes a long way 😊
How many cord a year do you process ? That’s quite a pile
@ the last few years it’s been 800 thanks for taking the time to watch
Morning Brandon. The gear is working well for ya.
@@OpenAirAdventure thanks Kenny have a great day!
you need to get a microphone cause it was very hard to hear you over the machine running
Busy solo day and still got 4 cord done with a video! Well done
@@WilleysFirewood 5 cords today not a solo day dad was there running the crane when I unloaded the log truck he delivered the one cord we did first thing in the morning. Also had the chain break on the 40’ conveyor 🤦♂️
@ so you had a second Monday too! It was a day for everyone I guess.
@ when it comes to firewood something is always bound to break!
Let's here it! I have thoughts too😂. We should have a meeting of the minds
I’ll definitely make a video on my thoughts on that subject!
If they said you were short then ya, fix em up. But if they say it again, then ya they're scamming ya. I doubt it happens often because ya know what your doing. Nice setup yas have.
Thanks buddy!
I agree with you I don't argue with them either I'd rather give them extra than have them complain
It’s definitely not worth the fight!
You guys are staying fairly busy.
Not bad could always be worse!
Happy Thanksgiving ❤

Yes this was in May of 23’
That thing is gonna be a beast! Don't see many 5 cord trucks around. Nice work.
@@WilleysFirewood thanks buddy!
Evening Brandon and Gilford. That's going to be quite the truck when it done. Did I hear you say it's for hauling firewood?
@@OpenAirAdventure Hey Kenny! Yes it will be a five cord truck it will have a divider so the body will split to hold 3 and 2 cord sections.
@Russellsfirewood oh nice. Wood Chuck Canuck has a divider in his. Great idea.

@@buckinfirewood Thanks man! The 4000 is a nice machine. Was lucky enough to pick up this one with only 430 hours on it. Excited to someday update to a 48c thanks for stopping by and saying hi.
@Russellsfirewood yeah I'm aiming for either the 48c or 60c.. couple more years to go..
@@buckinfirewood Marc had a demo in your yard? How’d you like it?
@Russellsfirewood well I tried to run the biggest nastiest stuff you never see on that machine.. the 60c would make a great buckin machine for the over size.. never once did it hesitate.. wish I would have run some better wood just to see the production and ease of it
