And casted the demon out of the woman, the woman’s slave owner didn’t like that he had gotten rid of her ability to fortune-tell and got Paul and Silas beaten and put to jail. They were in chains as they prayed and Thanked God for all he has done for them, they did not allow the pain and the embarrassment that they went trough allow them to complain and get angry with God. They saw it as an opportunity to pray to God, to praise him and sing Psalms to him, they stood their faith and allowed their faith to guide them. The Bible says that an earthquake trembled the cells and the chains fell. After several moments of events they were let free. Now we as children of God, think that because we follow God and we know God and we love him, life will be all rosy and smooth like peanut butter. But in reality, that is not it! The enemy sees that we are getting closer and closer to our father and he wants to stop us from that by basically chasing us away from God, with hard times and pain, and just different struggles. So when we are in these stormy seasons, we can sometimes get caught up in ourselves and just be thinking about ourselves. “Why do bad things happen to me?” “God you said” “What did I do for this to happen” we start to question ourselves and we start to allow the devil to get into our heads. “I though you were a child of God why is he letting you go trough this?” You need to understand that the enemy doesn’t just tempt you trough your thoughts, he does it trough people, he does it trough family and friends. He does it trough everyone, so but YOU as a child of God are to know that, during your hard times God is closer than you can ever imagine. And you are to use that opportunity to exercise your faith, to stand still and wait for him. To believe in him and what he has promised you, pray to him, thank him, talk to him. And during the most of it all, he will reward you with something bigger and better than the last thing was! Honestly I would have been sad if I can't cook too It just feels like it's an important skill to have in or out of a relationship especially as a woman. Luckily I can cook I just wish I could do other things like so like I don't know how to sell anything and I feel like that'll be super useful even though I live in a time where I could just go to a dry cleaners and have them do it for me but it would just save money you know. It ends up costing more in the long run if both people in the relationship can't cook.

I'd rather be an iconic pop queen than know how to cook...
