Misty (11weeks old) wants her sister Daisy to Play. When it gets too rough Baily steps in.
A Bike with a beautiful Sound, perfect ingeering without Computers and sond deadening.
Wow
Regarding the Guzzi V8, not just the creme, but the creme de la creme.
Why nothing of the Bottling line???
Hi Al, Plenty of Bottles in Bottle & Can Carlesberg TetleyPart One (Line 3)
Yes, enjoyable days and many now not with us, I always enjoyed the `Bottling` something always going on. After this transferred to the 168 hr `Flying Squad` until I volunteered to transfer back to the bottling, where I stayed until 2013. I enjoyed every minute and hope during my time I helped all whom asked and always attempted to improve upon my skills and knowledge. I was never a drinker, it never became "my Master" as it `bothered me not at all, seeing in my working life more beer bottles and cans than many can even contemplate. It was the machinery, the action that fascinated me labelling especially. Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed my job, but sadly not all I came into contact with enjoyed theirs.
Thanks for all these videos im a brewer myself and also work full time with machines in work with paper very interesting thank you
Thanks Daz, glad you have enjoyed them.👍
Fantastic bike and Sammy as ever a true gentleman.
bad video
Awesome bike. I think two of these hit head on in 1953 killing both Factory Riders.
189 mph plus 1955
A disappointing video. Did he actually move the bike forward using the engine. It sounded extremely rough and rattly - not good.

Brilliant in my old town, I see Jack Tempest
Fala braie'!!!
Il mito sopra un altro mito. Quando la Guzzi faceva dei capolavori.
Great to see this footage and amazed to see my younger self in it! What a brilliant place to work it was! If my memory is correct I reckon it was filmed in the morning of Christmas Eve 1987
The ultimate in engineering before computers and men with a brain and slide rule were kings of mechanics.
When I heard that Haley was coming out with the Milwaukee 8 I thought it was going to be a V8. Such a disappointment.
Poser.... ?
Well, that's 4:29 I will never see again 🤣🤣🤣
My Dad used to say, "you burned enough gas to drive down town".
I knew Dickie Dale, a top class racer who told me when I met him at the motorcycle shop, Sam Coupland Motor Cycles, at Sybsey near Boston U K that he rode the MG V8 and it had the then standard race tyres fitted. At 180 mph the tyres due to centrifugal forces had formed a "V" and the bike was weaving so he had to slow down. Many racers used to take their race biles to Sam's for a Winter rebuld and Dickie also had there a Rennsport (Works racing bike) BMW and a Rennsport, N S U 250 cc. I was in the royal Air Force then stationed at nearby R A F Coningsby. Happy Days. Sadly Dickie was killed while racing.
Absolutely wonderful ,that v8 matches the rear tyre beautifully !!!.
750cc
No, it's 500cc. It's a GP bike....
By the time he stops rooting around it'll cook itself.
go and read some info, this bike took 20 minutes to warm up engine to 70 C and be able to drive
mbhe!...
Moto Guzzi V8 sat on by Sammy Miller.
A Guzzi with a chain? You mean not ridden by Sammy Miller!
What was that about?
Not ridden by Sammy Miller, sleeping on it with engine sound. Nonsense Video.
Thoses 2 probably over heated the engine could have set an electric fan in front during the noise racing
go and read some info, this bike took 20 minutes to warm up engine to 70 C and be able to drive
@@bubrak what the hell?!? 20 mn?? A diesel one?😮
If only the vid was a few seconds longer we would have seen the motor stalled.
I have vid of Carl Fogarty on his Ducati doing same at Mallory Park few years ago. Also signed autographs to an enthralled crowd. Top man
Waiting for what
this bike took 20 minutes to warm up engine to 70 C and be able to drive
Would luv to see Cam Donald put it thru paces.
Glorioso!!
great to see the old bottling stores as it was in the Ind Coope days, ive actually got the burton herald with a feature of this last day in it. What was that old victorian school on the far left of the site as viewed from moor street gatehouse used for? as i know it was owned by Ind Coope and was used for something, though was derelict in the late 80's
this is like stepping back in time
50 Years ago, Good times, Hope you enjoyed it.
where abouts on the trent is this??
Sammy Miller standing on moto guzzi v8...
Shouldn't "riding" involve moving forwards?
you would think so ......if i had mot it ...i would want it to work
Is this a replica ?
No its original
Cheers
Do you know how many original V8s ther are ?
I think there are 8 that survived
Wow I just thought there would be two or three and some spare parts. Thanks so much for this info.
When is he riding it.
Ohmygod. Sammy Miller, a 500cc V8 Goose. I saw the engine itself up close in the Moto Guzzi museum in Mandello del Lario, by Lake Cuomo in Italy. Magnificent. parts look like a swiss watch.
I got to sit on one at a distributor show (Berliner Motor Corp.) in '67. Was surprised at how small the machine is, the engine not very wide at all.
it's Como ... not Cuomo (like former NY Mayor)
this machine a pino todero copy
sat on by Sammy miller
THE Sammy Miller of trials fame?
The very same.
he was a great road racer too
yep
