      More advanced and tactical that holywood presents them maybe but from the greeks nah bro not even close .Persians unkowledge that except of some greekhaters(like Mardonius who learned his lesson) and thats why they were having greek mercenaries at their ranks not the opposite :)

    Why Roman - Persian war is not the matter…???

    • @Yiannis2112
      @Yiannis2112 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Matter for whom? The Persians or the Romans? I'm asking because it was the Romans wanting to conquer Persia, not the opposite. So, if we're talking about the Romans and consequently Europe, no it doesn't matter much. It does, but much less for the European, great scheme of things. The Persians had the strength, number and resources, with a just a few less mistakes, to comquer the Greeks. If acheived, theoretically there was no one to stop them, taking the whole of Europe. We're talking 490BC here, ok? If not the Greeks, who was to stop them? The town called Rome? The Illyrians? The Paeonians, the Celts, the Gauls or the Iberians? Give it a break...How come you find similarities when the centuries later scenario, was Romans wanting to take Persia?
