The very powerful opening riff (one of the best on the album) and all the other guitars composed and played by Paul Stanley, for those who say that Ace was the sound of Kiss, without having a fucking idea of how Kiss was managed. And the lyrics, by Paul, magnificent.

Credit to you, brother, but those instrument tones/drum sounds are WEAK - especially compared to those which KISS recorded.
When KISS played this live, they didn't just didn't play the same exact riff twice. When it came to the 2nd same riff, Air TommyThayer was milking some high-pitched notes in the exact place on his guitar and it sounded incredible. With the particular song, it didn't have to have a "full chorus" be sung. If the first chorus were only half sung, that would've been great to get right back into singing the verses again! Not every song ever written always needs to have the chorus sung in full. Bands or artists can sing half a chorus to give the song just a bit of a "sneak peek" and then get back to the different lyrics in the verses! 🎯

@crisrose521 If I can get an isolated, clean voice I could do something much better. Isolating the voice from the original track is complicated and the sound quality is really compromised, but it's hard to explain everybody this, but it's a comment I receive from 1 every 20 people so I take my time and explain why I can't put the voice much higher in the mix. Funny how Gene and Paul have almost nothing nice to say about this album to this day. This and Carnival Of Souls got swept under the rug but I think they're both great albums.
