how to use it in salt farmulation
You don't need salt
Different formula different use
8 gr hpmc for 1 l water, viscosity 1500 cp..., for liquid soap should be 2500 - 3000 cp, it means have to double quantity of hpmc, meanwhile the cost of hpmc is expensive , not feasible for business

It's very fine powder, and have quickly dispersed, highly dissolved Excellent Thickening Effect, High Transparent using in detergent and liquid dish wash.
