Hey I want to say that I love you video and that you bring up some good points. Hell I genuinely believe that the PPG should be CN’s mascots just be cause how iconic they are Also what’s is 6:03 ?
Thank you! If you mean the Buttercup picture, it's a panel from Hasani Walker's Powerpuff which you can read on Webtoon :)
@@teacupballerina thank you
Hi teacupballerina, I am a fan of your art especially your comic The World of Light. I've been looking at your art on Twitter and Deviantart and I have to say your fanarts of ppg/samurai jack are very well-drawn so much that corporate comic book companies such as DC, IDW, and Dynamite should hire you. Your fanarts of adult ppg is my favorite, in fact whenever I read ppg fanfiction I use your art for my imagination. So to answer your question on the description I discovered ppg from Blockbuster (aka before Netflix existed people used to rent movies/tv shows where life was simpler) which my older sister rented a duo episode video cassette. She was 12 and I was 4 and I remembered watching the episode where they made a reference of Star Wars which you used for your video essay. It was a fun experience to watch not only that ppg taught me that even girls could be cool as boys. Ever since then I became a fan of ppg until I was 6 years old which I stopped interested them then suddenly I became interested at the age of 16 but again I stopped getting interested until finally this year. Believe it or not, I just discovered your arts this year even though you have been existed on the internet for more than 10 years. Probably because I was more of a vanilla wholesome person in the past and I want to stay away from the weird part of ppg fandom especially your Aku/Blossom shipping which I will be talking later. Initially I thought Aku/Bloss is cringey, but now as a grown adult I am beginning to understand how interesting the shipping is and a better insight of why you love DILFs so much. Through this I became tolerable to people's fetishes, kinks, and sexual preferences. Your identity and personality showed me that the world is full of diversed thoughts and different backgrounds. It amazes me that the world is a huge place and I am still learning more new cultures to come. Other than that I agree with you. Ppg impacted me to be a better artist/writer and just imagination. As a guy saying this ppg is one of my favorite cartoon network shows. A show that both cherishes the hearts of kids and adults in the both old and new generations. With that said Happy 25th anniversary for PPG! I look forward to your yt videos about your drawing tutorials which I am interested to learn from you. Also just your thoughts because I never realized how philosophical you are.
I agree completely with everything said in this comment.
Like you, this show had a large part in shaping me into who I am today. It cemented my musical taste (rock & metal), and through the fandom, I made friends and taught myself how to draw (not that I couldn't before, just this particular style took some effort). And though I disliked the PPGZ anime, I got convinced into watching other shows, and ultimately ended up liking the medium, and though I stopped watching anime for years now, I'm not as close-minded towards it as I once was. Sadly, I never got to see the movie in theaters. For reasons unknown to me, WB failed to promote it, and it got pulled before it was set to premiere here. When I got access to overseas stores through the internet, I managed to hunt down a copy of the DVD and watched it years later. Now, 25 years later, PPG is still the only cartoon I love as much today as I did back then (screw the 2016 reboot, though).
Whoa teacup! I remember your comic!! What a coincidence to find your name on here as I searched PPG on here. Happy anniversary PPG. I first got into it very young around the time it premiered, at the perfect age of around 3-5. Big impact on me too as well how I saw myself as a girl who loved action and boy stuff.
What an excellent presentation! As a multifannish Powerpuff Girls superfan invovled in several other fandoms I've been a huge fan of the Powerpuff Girls original 1998 series when it first aired 25 years ago today when I was 6. And the PPG original series, has always been a must-watch for me alongside other Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney Television Animation, PBS and anime shows of the 90s, 2000s, 2010s and today. All 3 of the 1998 Powerpuff Girls and the Rowdyruff Boys (the 1998 versions) are always my favorites. The show helped me realize that girls have the power to do anything they set their minds and to make a change in the world. The Powerpuff Girls empowered us to believe in ourselves, face fears and problems we go through. The Powerpuff Girls not only inspired me to write, but also has me imagining a whole lot. I'm sorry to say that I never had any piece of Powerpuff Girls merchandise growing up (aside from those from Burger King and the PPG 1998 stickers) and I never got to see the 2002 Powerpuff Girls movie in theathers on July 3, 2002, but I didn't let that didn't stop me from watching the show and all it's marathons, while I anticipated its premiere on TV in May of 2003, the same year the PPG Twas the fight before christmas (which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary also) premiered later that year. Despite my numerous anxiety disorders I've had about the 1998 Powerpuff Girls ever since I got back into the franchise on January 19, 2009 in honor of its then, 10th anniversary, the Powerpuff Girls has also got me running all over Deviantart looking up so many Powerpuff Girls fan-art made by fans and they were fantastic in capturing the style of the original series. I've also seen your fanart on Deviantart and I loved and enjoyed that and everyone else's PPG fanart- even Yunomi Niki/Girls Labo's PPG 1998 fanart the most- and so many PPG oc's on not only Deviantart, but Twitter (now X) and tumblr too. I may also love Demashita Powerpuff Girls Z and to a lesser extent the 2016 Powerpuff Girls reboot, but I'll always love the Powerpuff girls original 1998 series the most! I'm still watching the Powerpuff Girls original 1998 series off and on to this day and I'm proud to be a fan of this timeless Cartoon Network show for 25 years. Happy 25th anniversary! Wonderul video!
You know, I've been following you on twitter for a while and have found your content cringy yet loveable at the same time. I never realized just how much of a positive impact these three girls have had on our generation, so I find myself agreeing with you when you say we need their energy today. Thank you for helping me see.
Thank you so much! I'm glad what I was trying to say didn't get lost lol
I can remember powerpuff girls everywhere and I was born in 2007
what's the powerpuff girls
surely not something that has had huge consequences on MY life on a literal personal level????????????????? oh oh my god
@@BeeAre I forgot to get into the ppg --> parsec --> slender --> letsplays --> internet culture pipeline! The true impact is really impossible to calculate! A butterfly effect of love!
Taylor, you just did the better job of summing up and honoring our favorite cartoon of all time than I could ever hope to do! You’ve just made MY November 18th this year! 🫂 The first time I actually saw anything of The Powerpuff Girls was when at six, while spending the afternoon at a family friend’s house, I stumbled upon the middle of the episode “Speed Demon” and was greatly perplexed by what I was watching. On a later occasion at the same house, I joined my brother and the family friends in question to watch “Beat Your Greens” and “Down ‘n Dirty”, and on another date, “Cat Man Do”. After some time, the aesthetic and cultural landscape I had tasted for the first time lingered in my consciousness and I knew it was something I could never get out of the tamer media I was stuck with. So, for the next couple years, I begged my parents to get Cartoon Network on our cable until we finally did. After which, I had lots of catching up to do. Daniel and I saw The Powerpuff Girls Movie when it premiered on CN in May 2003. Long story short, we bought the movie on videocassette to see the ending. The movie is the perfect epitome of the design aesthetic Genndy and Craig innovated and the gold standard I long to live up to.
I couldn’t agree more! 😇

Welcome back to TH-cam, Teacup. To answer your question in the TH-cam Description, my first time watching the PPGs was during its reruns on Boomerang. Weeknights at 10pm was truly the best experience.
Wow whoever made this is completely insane
