D Standard; the first King Gizz I know in this tuning. It was actually a few cents higher than 440hz, so I lowered the pitch slightly to match it. Although it looks like this is gonna be on the new album which I think is gonna be Drop B, so this CDLC will be outdated when the other King Gizz Charter on customsforge charts it when it comes out 🤘🎸

Based on the live performance the final version of this song is probably in C# standard 😉

Works in progress; just some tests of what I've managed to chart so far. I might get around to finshing them soon, but I'm super busy with school and work atm, so full album charts and long songs with lots of stuff going on in them are kinda on hiatus.

If you go on Customsforge, you'll see that some fine folks have done the whole album front to back already. I really only do songs that haven't already been done. You should check them out!

It sound like your getting the Low Bass Tuning Glitch. Are you playing on the 2.1 version? The low bass tuning should be fixed in that version. If not, you can always run the Low Tuning Bass Fix on the Customsforge Song Manager. the tuning should be labeled as B Standard: A220 in game when you get to the tuning screen.

I reuploaded a playthrough of my 2.0 version of this song with the correct tuning; you should check it out if you want to see a more accurate tabbing of the song!

For this particular chart, no. The way I charted it was to the closest semitone so that players with standard 12-TET guitars (an overwhelming majority) would be able to play without worrying about 1-to-1 accuracy. You could do pre-bends to simulate the quarter tones, and I think Rocksmith wouldn't mind that, considering that the note detection is forgiving enough, even when you set the tolerance level on the lowest. I'm still contimplating whether or not I should make an alternative chart with actual charted pre-bends so that folks with microtonal guitars could play it the way intended. I say pre-bends because it is indeed impossible to chart quarter tone notes with the standard 12-TET fretboard the game gives you, so the best solution would be to chart pre-bends and then remember that those particular notes want you to play a "fret" ahead of what is displayed.

I charted it off of the official tab that Kmac made for the song. According to the gp5 file that came with, it's in F standard (the low kind). I recommend a 7 or 8 string guitar or a set of real thick strings for downtuning on a 6 string.

Download link added! Since uploading this video, I have tweeked the track to play a bit better and also added Bass if that's your thing! If on PC, all you need to do is drag and drop the file into your DLC folder. If on console, you'll need to have it modded in order to play CDLC. Yeah, I'll update the description with a download link sometime in the future. Since then I have updated the CDLC to have much better audio levels. If you've got Rocksmith for PC, then you should check it out!

Yeah, I have fixed it since then with future versions. The audio should be balanced out a bit better.
