What would be the cost of intervention in Syria?
My brother, mother, and my own red hair all got darker as we got older. I was often bullied for my hair. But it is equally true that if someone wanted to have a go at me they would use “red hair” as a way in. Like having a dig at someone for being tall or short.
It’s awful being a redhead. Since I was old enough to talk that was the only defining feature about me. It’s not good either when the only compliment to gingers is “I have a thing for gingers” or “gingers are hot”. It’s like two ends of the spectrum.
I was bullied all the time as a kid, young adult, for being a red head, still hear some remarks today. I’m 53 and have developed a thick skin.
As I personally emphasize most on the character of a person, next to the abilities and past deeds of a person, I advocate the dismissal of this type of bullying which has been evolved to bully by describing later stages of the collective misery and anger and protests by the bullied and the oppressed. I'll explain in layman's terms. In this example, you are rejected opportunities and slandered for no reason while others are neither rejected opportunites nor slandered. You strive to survive and pursue happiness and defend yourself, so you do things such as verbal outcry and reporting to authority. Your actions are further slandered as acts of badness by the bullies. You are denied ideal job opportunities and the only means to survive are to commit crime or to do roles of villains and dying heroes such as what the great Sean Bean has done. The new generation of children and immigrants and people of foreign lands where rumors and media and film spread learn of the acts of the oppressed, but because the oppressed people are surpressed of communication to those people about the truth, the oppressed people are not viewed oppressed but instead viewed silly and stereotypically bad. This has been done onto short people. This has been done onto black people. This has been done onto white women. This has been done onto muslims. You have to realize who the common exemption is.
I rarely leave my home and if I do I put a hood up, regardless of the weather. Friends say aren't you too old to care about bullying? Just get over it, it's all in your head. At 37 I should be over it and it's unfortunate for my daughter, she has the same treatment given to her. People are shit.
মহারাজা তোমারে সেলাম।।
I was born with bright red hair but as I've gotten older it's darkened into a lovey shade of auburn, just these thick, firey, silky waves. I love it and I'd never trade it for anything. I have gotten some mean comments, and one time when I wasn't in the sun (so I don't know if they were aware they were sitting next to a ginger or not), there were a couple of girls who literally had an HOUR LONG conversation about how they hate gingers right next to me. I always get called Ed Sheeran or Ron Weasley and people on the internet tell me to kms. People waste energy and time hating me for my hair color. I honestly just think it's stupid and I like to pretend it doesn't hurt me but it does, deep down, it really hurts. But I still love my hair! When I'm an old lady and the vibrant red turns white I will dye my hair bright colors because it's just a part of who I am! <3 Don't ever let anyone make you feel less than you are. You were created by the greatest artist out there and they would never create a mistake <3
redheads are HOT!
My son has red hair. Imagine having a new born baby and knowing that they will be bullied their whole life because the British are the most gutless bigots in the World.
Growing up with red hair I was secretly hoping my kids didn’t have red hair. I felt different to everyone else and mate to feel like a freak. No one would have known either as I put a brave face on. Fortunately these days ppl are generally more empathetic so hopefully your child doesn’t go through what others have gone through
A surprisingly uplifting interview on terminal cancer. Wilko Johnson from the interview: ‘The doctor was drawing diagrams with a biro and looked up and told me that I've got cancer. I mean one often imagines what one would feel if, on being told this and it wasn't like anything I'd imagine, in fact, I felt absolutely calm. It was as if he was telling me something I’d known all my life and when I walked out of the hospital and saw the blue sky and the trees and suddenly I realized I was alive and I had the most, I don’t know, it's almost an ecstatic feeling and I thought initially this is a.. I don't know, shock reaction or something. Shouldn't I be, shouldn't I be miserable, shouldn't I be… but no, I felt this aliveness, I was alive.'
My whole life I have been bullied and done wrong because of my hair. People are prejudice of us.
In Russia no one cares if someone has ginger hair.
Buy this man a Guinness, or any ale of his choice!!
won't solve ignorance
10 years ago, wow
Only if you are a male. Female gingers are very, very attractive.
He is not even ginger, he has brown hair
Ive grown to love it i always kinda have but it does get much better as you get older trust me 💯🤘🧡
I'm 30 and I'm starting to dye my hair more because people around me makes me feel uncomfortable, unattractive and I'm already accepted that I don't have a soul
The most greatest director of India n whole world
I was borne with bright red hair ,,,and there is nothing good about it , my skin is as white as a corps , I have no eye lash color ,, it looks like my eye lashes has been burnt off bald eyed ,,when I was young the red hair , changed my life ,, honnestly I know that me having red hair caused people to reject me ,, no one wanted to date a red head person ,, my brother was a teen ager in the 1950's and he told me that red head class mates and even young adults that is someone said you liked a red head , It was a shame people would get angry at you for saying to them they liked or dated a red head person ,, I am not being mean I am just saying red hair can be changed , it is easy now ,,dont allow your children or your self to be red headed ,, its not attractive ,,people with red hair are not as attractive as non red heads ,,,my hair begin to change darken but it took many years to do so ,, almost forty before the red became darker ,, my red beard turned white , and I mean super white ,,,it dont look good I am so pale I look like a termite or a pink eyed billy goat ,,,I have got skin cancer on my nose had it removed once already and several other places on my body ,, please if your red headed and fair skin stay away from the sun ,,you will regret it when your older sjin cancer is painful itches and burns the cancer on me I had to have it removed three times ,, it felt like a wart and itched and burnt ,,and turned black and blood came from it ,, It had to be removed three times ,, burnt , and then sergical ,,,and then finally a large area of skin to get all the cancer off ,, use sun blocks ,, and stay If your red headed and light skin your a pale male ,,,use skin tanners ,, lotions that turn your skin darker ,, they work wonderful ,, Just for men beard dye works wonderful ,, and red hair can be canceled out with light brown hair dye and ash hair dye ,,even eye brows I use Just for men on my eye brows to make me look better Red hair can be taken care of red head people dont have to suffer with the last of color ...they can fix it , they make products to change it ,,,,

Bullying in the Bible for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes. Wicked = bullies
Jed and his dive team were fantastic. Harrison was so lucky and so brave.
Hear it all over the years.. Ronald McDonald,Rick Astley im proud of my hair, makes me unique and stand out....fucking hate summer though 😂
I almost killed myself due to people bullying me for so many years and telling me to kms. I'm 14. If you say half the things that people say to gingers to another race/minority it would be so messed up. Like "hey black kid, you should change the color of ur skin bc it's so ugly!" Like uhhhm noo that's not right but apparently it's ok to say it to a person who has red hair. I hope y'all feel confident and just know u are so beautiful and amazing ❤
*Satyajit Ray* I love you sir💕 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
🇮🇳 ❤❤ *Satyajit Ray* ❤❤ Best filmmaker in History of Cinema 💕I LOVE *SATYAJIT RAY* 💕 🇮🇳
Chuckys got ginger hair 😂😂😂😂
The world has gone mad gingerism I'm a red head both me sons are But this is getting stupid now Yea we got stick for it at school There was 3 kids in my school with red hair and I'm sure they would say the same it makes us tuf and different but this is my point and some won't like this but its no different to skin color I'm super pal white and if i was blue black (orange them fake tans u no girls) brown Oriental mixed race im sick of it being a label its was name calling I say scrap the word racism replace it with just ism
Great interview, one minor point though - the photo in the background was of Dr Feelgood POST Wilko!
From an evolutionary biology perspective its a very negative quality. Its a complete loss of function mutation. It predisposes you to skin cancer hearing loss and parkinsons. Im not saying people should be made to feel like shit over something they cant control. It's like the short guy who is made fun of for being short. Them the brakes. It's more negative for men than women because the sexes are dimorphic. Just dye your hair problem solved. You could actually have a phenotype you can't cover up. This one ain't so bad
Red power✊️
Red head girls are 👌 Moaners!
Satyajit Ray received the Ramon Magsaysay Award long time back and H.H.The Dalai Lama got the same award today. What a coincidence. One of Asia's highest honors, reversing the spirit demonstrated by people and organizations through altruistic and selfless dedication to the people of Asia. Asians who stand out in their profession and have a reputation for voluntarily serving others without seeking public awareness are eligible for the Ramon Magsaysay Award.
8:37 I completely agree with him. That's what we Indians in general, and Bengalis in particular are missing. We are proud of these great personalities which our community has provided to the world like Satyajit Ray, Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Jagadish Chandra Bose, Satyendranath Bose, Meghnath Saha, Amal Kumar Raichaudhuri and many more... But we have failed to carry on their legacy, we have failed to walk on their ideals. Like that's what we should do. When we are proud of a certain personality because of their works, we should not just say it and just make them godly figures, instead we should adopt their ideals, carry on their legacies. I believe that's what actual respect to them means. Sadly, now we have even started forgetting them, let alone carrying on their leagacy!
Bro I thought the people were going to talk about going full on Blastoise water cannon type shit.
1963.
I get made fun of all the time in high school, most people would say that I’m attractive but I should dye my hair brown or something because my ginger hair makes me look ugly
It's a shame that they don't hand out sentences like that to scum these days. The country would be a better place.
What a strange abrupt ending to an emotional interview ....glad Wilko Johnson got some 9 more years to live and enjoy life he is a legend..
Indian Film Industry cannot produce people of that stature. Thanks for Restoring his works.
Thank you for everythings !!!
It is bullying if it hurts the person. It isn't your place to decide
The one and only, RIP mate and thanks for the music
i have ginger hair and school makes me suffer. Each day atleast 3 peopke will insult me or physically hit me, for example when i was walking home someone that i had never seen before shouted you ginger c--- go and kill yourself. At the moment i cant do anything and i hate it so much
He is a pride of India 🇮🇳🙏
I hate gingers they demons who are the last decents of the red-haired giants people forget how evil these evil creatures really are. They are pure evil and soulless #anunnaki
Mate😂. Let me guess you're a far right 12 year old that loves Andrew Tate🤣
i’m guessing your parents don’t love you and pushed their catholic beliefs on you

Red hair is cool in my country. It looks good in every skin color. It's kinda sad that they get a lot of crap.
