It's such a shame that there's not as many Bibles in UK hotel rooms. I first saw a Gideons New Testament & Psalms in my hotel room draw very recently. When I heard it was the NIV like the one on my Bible app on my phone, I felt that the Lord was calling me to listen to the Bible on my phone every day instead of just now and then when I felt in the mood. I couldn't read the Gideons Bible as I'm blind, but the app has an audio Bible.

Chariots of Fire only tells half a story. Parts of the film are actually poetic licence. For instance Liddell decided not to run in the 100 metres as soon as he found out that the heats were on a Sunday. The film draws it out to the Olympic committee and future king attempting to persuade him otherwise. Eric Liddell was a great advertisement for christianity and a true example for all. He couldve lived a comfortable life at home on the back of his olympic gold. Instead he went back to China to take the word to those who hadn't heard. Whilst in the Prison camp he educated the children and took them for sport. He never once mentioned his olympic exploits. He was given his chance of freedom in a Prisoner exchange but gave the opportunity to a pregnant women instead. He remains one of my all time heros.

Artistic licence being what it is, he knew you see the heats were on the Sabbath, ergo he recites from Isaiah 40 in the Kirk Ecossaises Paris those days are long gone, God rest Eric Liddell

WOW!!! I would have thought TBN not only exposed but was long gone. Back in the 80's I did a decade stint with the Pentacostal & Charasmatics, it was like being at a old school carnival. Even then could never watch or agree with the Crouches or TBN it was so fake. That being said, there is no credibility with this guy or TBN. New translations & versions must be written in order to keep up with cults & the emerging churches of Satan. Yes, the pentacostals of today & charasmatics have their own special version as did I. The KJV scares those that have and are going off the reservation, it is the will of the father of thos world as we approach "The Day".

The entire modern bible is a complete joke and is so far removed from the original language(as is Christianity in general) that it has taken on a completely different meaning. Fortunately there is an element of truth left, therefore an element of Christ left, but in general the dark side has infiltrated religion and the scriptures and created a mind-controlling religion with it. Check out 'Who Rewrote the Bible' by Dr. Lorraine Day(available in pdf only). In some cases even the original Hebrew has been altered. The first word of Genesis 1:1 was switched from 'Ab'(father) to 'Ba'. A Hebrew holy text would begin with Aleph, not Bet. According to Dr. Micheal Ledwith(a scholar who advised the Pope for 17 years), the true reading of Gen 1:1 is "The Father of the beginning created the Elohim(angels), the heavens, and the Earth. Furthermore, Gen 1:2 should read "And the Earth had become barren and a wasteland". The words 'had become' are still right there in the Hebrew, yet were omitted in the English. Gen. 1 was not the creation of the earth, but its re-creation after a massive cataclysm- which is why Adam and Eve were told to REPLENISH the Earth. Every single story in the Torah was plagiarized from older texts(mostly Sumerian and Babylonian), owing to the fact that 1)Abram was Sumerian and 2)the Hebrew scribes had free access to the Babylonian libraries during their captivity. They rewrote these stories and placed themselves in the center of them. The character of Moses was completely made up, as his life story was copied from Sargon of Akkad and his accomplishments were copied from Ra-Harakhti, the reborn sun god of Canopus(and others). The Ten Commandments are a repetition of the Babylonian Code of Hammurabi. Also, Elohim is plural, i.e. gods. THE ELOHIM said "Let us make man in our own image". The Hebrew doesn't say 'God' and 'The Lord God', it says 'the Elohim' and 'the Most High'(i.e. their leader). These words were translated correctly in Psalms 82. It says 'gods' and 'the Most High'. Which also gives context to the chapter. There are so many things like this. The Gnostic Christians(i.e. Cathars) had it right, which is why the Catholic Church destroyed them. They rejected the old Testament god, and insisted that Yahweh is the devil, and not Jesus' Father. What did Jesus say in John 8:19? "Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also". And then 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it". So he stated clearly that the god of the old Testament, who was certainly the god of the Pharisees, was the devil and not his Father! When you read the words and actions of Yahweh, it's clear that he is motivated by anger and jealousy and not by love!

Luther is not a man to admire or respect. Among his many deficiencies, he was a vicious anti semite. And, he was never a pious man but one of pride, ignorance and arrogance. Young man, not every teaching is to be found in the Bible. Christ gave His Church earthly authority in His absence. You are worf😢ignorant. Christ, left us a Church, not a Bible. And the Bible is a Catholic book, written by Catholic authors and compiled by Catholic counsels. And NOOOOOOOOOOO, the Church or Pope did not want to kill Luther. Your video is hilariously inaccurate.
