I have had both normal and facelift version……. I believe the facelift to have been built to an inferior specification…… interior materials worse ……. But yes rust issues were reduced …… Chrysler influence and accountants were already starting to interfere in the early 2000s

Ive just got my late 02/03 e320 Avangarde from a scrap yard in great condition, currently has around 280,000km (170,000miles), it has nothing wrong with it engine wise body is amazing also besides a small dent in the drivers side door, I've given it a general service including new tyres and brakes ive also paid for a professional detail on the exterior and interior, and man does it feel and look like a brand new car such high quality!

I truly admire the W140 but the E38 it is the most beautiful sedan ever made. Ever.

Great review man! Mine is the 4.0L V6. This is a car which you fall in love with. It's satisfying to know it can drive you through hell and back home without hassles. It’s sad that such cars are not made anymore. Those who have this gem must retain it and pass it down for generations to come.

I have a 2008 with 123k miles on it. I had many problems when I got it. I was sick a lemon. But thankfully I had a warranty and 4 years later, it can run with the best of’em. However, getting certain parts is a hassle. I keep it local (Jersey only) and never road trips. Love this truck! Pure Beast that rumbles.

w222 is better than the 221 in almost every way, its more reliable, its way more stylish and elegant looking, the interior is simply incomparable, the 221 has that ugly design language mercedes had from 2000s to mid 2010s that i just simply hate, i think most people would agree on these points i made.

I disagree……. The non- facelift w210 had better materials (particularly in interior soft finishes )

I own a 2008 E 350. Besides a transmission solenoid that went bad, it’s been a great car! 167,000 miles

Driven an '01 E320 12 years and counting. Not too big, not too small, it has a tight steering radius in the cities but doesn't get blown around on the interstates. The V-6 engine still has torque in 5th gear. Well balanced 4MATIC four wheel drive moves silently down the road with authority. I avoid salty roads like the plague, but never had any handling problems in rain and snow. The 5 speed transmission shifts at the right times and can be manually overridden. The engineers thought of everything. It's a wonderful, confidence inspiring car..

This old bucket is in demand only in 3rd world countries like eastern Europe because their citizens are too poor to buy anything never. Thats why.

212 facelift 2014 e350 4matic … is definitly better than any 211 (excluding amg version … but 212 amg is far better than 211 amg) - it is a matter of generation

I have a slight disagreement. W124 is the best E Class. May not be the best looking, but it's the best built.

lol I got this video recommended right after buying a crashed w211 E280 2007. Yes, it has the timing chain problem, but the car only cost me 2300 and the repair (timing chain + crash) will be about 2500. So it was more than worth it. The interior is soooo beatiful.

I bought the GLE400 a few months ago. Incredible car. I agree that the v8 is insanely fast, but the biturbo v6 is also more than enough. It goes to 100 within 5.8 seconds, so not that big if a difference than the v8, but it is more economical. Even the 350 will be fine for most of the people, although I agree that you said it isn't fast enough. I am on normal suspension as air suspensions are not very reliable in general, no matter the brand and pricey to maintain. I thought it could be a mistake, but man it rides perfectly, especially on bad rodes, some say it is even better than the airmatic. And on the highway way doing 160 in a corner is not a problem. Only on very twisty road, you would feel more lean to the sides, but it makes you drive the car in a more relaxed manner, which I appreciate.

i have a white W211 E280 3.0 V6 2009 with 94K/KM it feels like its just left the factory, and the V6 is like driving a V8...it sounds grumpl and mad, but it's just fast, and really smooth on the road (not air suspension)

why havent you made any video about audi (i know its a terrible brand but i want to know why)
